[ROSE] List of unfinnished items

Ok I was able to compile the ROSE sourcecode and started the ROSE server. Everything works fine, but there is still lots to be done. Therefore I made this topic so people can talk and work on it.

LOGIN server:

Everything works fine!

CHAR server:

Characters can't be deleted.

MAP server:

Monsters dont walk/fight
Exp table isn't implemented yet
NPC's aren't implemented yet
Some warpgates arent working yet
Some GM commands arent working yet (ie. /mon)

I hope we can work as a team to find this out asap, I can program a little bit so maybe I am able to fix a few things. :happy:

Im sure /mon works, try /mon 10 10, that should spawn 10 butterflys around you :).

are you using navicat? cuz if you are, just go into navicat and delete the character manually...this is only just a quick fix though...

I have already managed to fixed the ingame character deletion so the character server is done. I am currently working on te exp tables.

Those butterflies are the only monsters which will appear so, this isn't really fixed imo. The GM commands arent that import, I first want to work on the monster, exp and items.

I know we are far from a 100% stable and bug free server, but I have manged to make a CPP file, which can be used to open SQL tables. This can be used to read monsters info, or NPC locations and drop tables.

I have already finnished the levelup system with EXP requirements, and the monster EXP tables yesterday (all read from the mySQL database). So things are going fine now. As soon as I am done with the important things I will release it to public, so others can help build better SQL tables and monsters locations etc. (I still need more time to sit for it, because I work from 9 to 5) :D

yeah since some guy put a site with monster location, why dont you help wouter, to those who know how to edit the db's on monster location, and give it to him so that less work and less time that wouter will consume.... heheh just a suggestion.

i fixed the statbugs where your stats go negative when they are > 127 (including level)
im still doing a few fixes and then maybe ill post the modded server exes

I will help you guys and send the new SQL tables + source code as soon as the most important things are fixed. I already made an entire new monster database with motion, delay, speed and mode (agressive, normal, looter etc..).
See, I just started monday and already fixed alot of things, so I am really motivated to fix the rest for you guys.
