rose offline (gamegaurd)

well i set up my own server no problems... but when i download the game gaurd fix it wanted to connect to the internet (which i have none at home) so it sat trying to connect and eventually timed out and wouldn't launch the game

is there a special gamegaurd file i have to download or something i have to do to get it working 100% offline?
