welcome to my guide on how to make Rose Online server

Step 1: First download the server pack that you will be needing to run the server http://rosefiles.net/files/Fullserver_v80.zip

Step 2: Download and install MySQL http://rosefiles.net/files/mysql-ess...0.45-win32.zip

Step 3: Download Navicat http://rosefiles.net/files/navicat8_mysql_en.exe

Step 4: Open Navicat and Click on Connections



Step 5: Click "Test Connection" and you should get a success. If you do, click "OK"

Step 6:go to your Server folder open it up and find"charserver.conf" open it with notepad

Step 5:find the file named "loginserver.conf" and open it with notepad

Step 6: find the file named "worldserver.conf" and open it with Notepad

-------------------Finaly we have finished hooking that part up of the server! yay -----------------------
starting the server first thing,Run "loginserver.exe" and let it load, then run "charserver.exe" and let it load, then run "worldserver.exe".
-------------------Seting up the Client side--------------------
Step 1:first you need to download a fresh client and patch if fully wich will take about 1hr with good internet.

Step 2:after Fully patching go to the file directory. click on a .exe called "TriggerDetect.exe" and chose what screen size ect.(suggest window mode).



Step 3: (YOU NEED THIS TO PLAY ON YOUR SERVER U HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS!)Game Guard Patch it stops updates, and the Trose.exe is Crudental in this server you will have to download this!!!

Step 4: Dont forget! you have to have a Launcher to go with your server? right? ok so.

step 5:Extract the files into a folder on your desktop, open the file "lconfig.nhd" with notepad and then you should see that it says,

now. if you want your freinds to play then u change the SERVER=127.0.0.1 to Server=(Wan ip)(if you dont know ur ip to go ipchicken.com)

Step 5: now put ur launcher and game-Guard patch into ur rose online file directory open up ur Launcher and play!

So... What exactly is the purpose of this guide? Kinda already had an in-depth Evo guide, which is outdated as well as this guide...

Dev-Rev 360 (OsRose rev81) really is much nicer then OsRose rev80...

Nice, again with the failed attempt at flaming me. With this guide, you tell them how to set up the old version of OsRose, which in turns creates more threads here about problems that have been answered tons of times, such as the 'range error in OsRose rev80. It'd be much nicer if you change this into a guide about setting up the Dev-Rev so that there are more people helping spot bugs so they can be fixed. Also, the dev-rev would work better with Windows 7, seeing as the most recent versions of the NaRose client doesn't have GameGuard on it, which the dev-rev is compatible with.

Secondly, I find it funny that you think I care about getting reputation, I honestly couldn't care less about it, it's just numbers. Also, if I didn't care about anything, why would I update my client customization guide every once in a while, or re-upload the iRose 131 client? You can think whatever you damn well please about me, but stop trying to flame me, it's embarrassing really.

He just told you that you did a guide for rev 80 which is kinda old :)
There is a replacement far more complete, with QSD, STB, AIP, STL, LTB handling, Union Wars and a lot of fixes, and that is named the "dev rev".

in rev 80 you can't activate anything.
It is an outdated dinosaur that is no longer supported by any devs.
Rev 80 is 2 years out of date.

If you want anything useful to work on your server you need the "dev rev" (follow lmame's link)
It is currently at rev 360 and gets regular updates.

Oh oh oh :)
It's weird, I thought you developed completly your server without using any other server's source :)
And now everyone knows you're using osRose rev 80

Anyway, Union wars is only in dev rev.
