    Trying to make my server online

    hey all ,
    i'm trying to make my server online .
    i useing Arcutus files

    i know i must need to portforwarding .
    i really did , but still nothing , my friend cannot connect .

    so i was googling and i found a program that portforward you routher .

    i download it , but i dont know how to use it .
    can someone explain me .

    cuz my english isn't really good , cuz i am dutch .

    maybe you give him wrong ip, or maybe you have firewall that block him..

    I think they're is something wrong into my routher maybe , i've so many settings , and i'm not able in routhers :sad_1:.

    my firewall is off , and i give him the correct ip .
    Hmm , maybe i go find a program so i can forward them .
    hope that gone works .

    Someone know a good program for forwarding the ports ?

    you just go into your routers settings what kind of router do you have?

    my routher is "Linksys" WRT54G

    well i looked up how to port forward an the guide put 200 in the ip address an when i did that it worked fine to cuz i was gettin some error as well

    I would Just DMZ the pc but not the most secure. But the same as running without a router .
    Then just setup a Firewall Software.

    I'm having the same problem too , i'm currently behind router. The problem is, where do we set the ips to ? i just don't understand that part. I can't seem to understand the part in the guide , probably cause of my english >_< !!

    my DMZ is enable on my ip 192.168.1.102

    and my firewall protection is on disable
    all my firewalls are off , same into my software firewall .

    Ok jimowns so far from what I have read every thing you have done is right so far.

    But I have two questions for you.

    1. Did you goto www.whatismyIP.com and put that IP in your ini files too.

    2. Did you also make a Loopback connection...For some reason the Acturus file rquire it.

    1) yes i did that

    2) I dont understand what you mean , so i think i didn't do that .

    i all did that , cuz someone into my msn helpd me with that
    but still nothing , nobody can't connect and ports are still closed
