People who are having trouble with gameguard or having the directx version mismatch error in Windows Vista have just found their solution. This is a must have for all. You all will be dying for it. Especially vista users. I hope you enjoy this. This is a fix for all rose online games and windows versions. Simply it will bypass gameguard or make you have no gameguard.

SImply download and put files in the rose folder. Thats it no more errors. ^_^ I'm using vista atm on rose online.

What is this file nogg.exe? I don't find anything on the internet on what it is and there isn't a readme with it.

nogg = no gg, no gameguard, so let me shed some light on this, its the krose trose.exe, cause that doesn't use gameguard, and its gameguard that craps up on vista.

Oh, hehe. I thought the problem was DirectX, not GG?

I have no clue yet, my Vista is on its way to me, so the fun will begin soon.

Nope, its gameguard, causes a win32k.sys bluescreen, using krose exe on my laptop with vista home prem sorted it.

Just install direct x 9 so you have direct x 10 and 9 files, then you'd start getting a win32k.sys BSOD.

Ignore him..If you disable UAC (User Account Control) that is in windows vista...All programs are at administrator access. I have already tried that and your solution is gonna crash us all. Mine won't ^_^

You know what is interesting, I just loaded a new hard drive with Vista Ultimate and then loaded NA 128 (which updated to current one).

I was able to use Rose with no modifications at all, no directx and no gameguard problems.

I am not sure why others are having problems with it?

Yeah zaraki is right, just right click on the program and run it as administrator and it should work fine..

I know quite a few people who run rose under vista without any problems.
I have also personally set up two different instances of a virtual GG server that runs through Xampp on vista machines.
Again no problems.
