U dont need original windows to install windows installer 3 u just need the installer and i dont know if u can dld it from Microsoft Corporation because of the windows. I instaled it on a non-original windows xp with no problems but i had it from a patch or something from Chip i think. P.S. Who the hell uses original windows? I think Bill Gates doesnt have the original 1 o_O its 500$ lol.And is this server on SQL 2005? or why u need framework and inst 3?

Well I need to adjust my world server, and as i hear from others i need framework for that, and to install framework i need windows installer 3, but i cant... so tell me your secret :yikes:

Try to find a patch that contains windows installer.I thing this 1 has win inst 3 AutoPatcher_XP_Nov2005_Full .Good luck if its the right patch i dont now a link for it :S sry
