Noob friendly R63B Hotel Plus Emu Revcms (IIS) Setup

    Hello Ragezoners,

This is a tutorial on how to make a habbo revcms plus emulator boon edit retro running on IIS.
If you dont have a VPS i would recomend http://xhosts.uk/ they have great prices for good quality.

    First step setting up IIS:

when logging into the vps you will get this popping up

click add roles, click next and then click Web Server (IIS) like shown here.
Once you've done that press next and next again then you will end up with a page looking like this.

then you will have to check box the following: ASP.NET, .NET Extensibility & IIS 6 Management Compatibility
click next and click Install. you will then have a page looking like this.

and boom you have setup IIS i would recomend restarting the VPS before moving on but you dont have to.

Second step downloading and installing programs:

I've made a setup package with all from google chrome browser to Cracked Navicat Mysql.
    Download link [MEGA]: https://mega.nz/#!nsETDKJL!QQb-08ujw...bfsIB_Vv7FIcuY
install all those programs the navicat got the crack in the document you will have to press register instead of trial to put it in.

Third step Setup Microsoft Web Platform:

    Download link: https://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx
Once you have downloaded it install it and it shoud be looking like this.

you will then find these and install add them once you added them all go and install them.

It will look like this at first in when installing

you then chose your MYSQL database password (remember to write it down somewhere).
Once you have chosen those and installed them it shoud look like this.
now you have Mysql, IIS, Php etc. setup fully.

Fourth step setting up the cms and database:
Download Link cms and the clean database: https://mega.nz/#!ep8CnSQS!dsuSCQreePjZKV7DgbwvtKwmgb-xLkTEQVmkBASIjcA
Once u've downloaded the rar file goto wwwroot

Then delete all in the wwwroot folder and unpack all from the rar file into the wwwroot folder like this

Open Navicat and connect to your database by using your Password you made setting up Microsoft Web Platform:

after you have done that click the Connection you have made so it opens and then right-click it and click "New Database.."

call it whatever you like. once you done that click that database so the icon turns lime-ish and right click it then click Execute SQL File

then a window like this shoud appear

you then click the dots and goes to your wwwroot and click your CleanPlus DB.sql it shoud look like this

and run it once you are done running click close and click Querys at top like this

then run this code: ALTER TABLE `users` ADD `seckey` VARCHAR(999)
Now you have setup the mysql part of stuff.

we will then do the cms setup
You go to the Config in wwwroot/app/mangement

open it and change the following
"TheVpsIp" To your VPS ip adress,
    "Hotelname" To your hotel name,
"HotelUrl" To your hotel Url Example: example.com,
    "MysqlPassword" To your Mysql password,
"MysqlDatabaseName" To the database name (not the connection!)

After that go to wwwroot/app/tpl/skins/eubbo/ like this

    and open client.php with notepad++
you will then change the "HotelUrl" To your hotel Url
and change The HostPort to your proxy port if you dont have a proxy its port 30000
and change the HostIp to your proxy ip if you dont have a proxy its your VPS ip.
and you are done with the cms setup.

Fifth step setting up swfs and the emulator:
    Download Link plus emulator: https://mega.nz/#!zwF0jKRY!YoU-1FflL...patDUYDR3zk-mk
Download the plus emulator and unpack it on your desktop then open it
    goto PlusEMU/Bin/Debug/ like this

    and open config in notepad++
    The change the following below
"VpsIp" To the VPS ip adress,
    "MysqlPassword" To your Mysql password,
"MysqlDatabaseName" To the database name (not the connection!)
Then Emulator is sorted but dont start it yet. you have to sort the Swfs first!

Download Link plus emulator SWF's: https://mega.nz/#!O8sgXLTA!GiSrQogZO...eZ0lTax0qvOj04
Once you have downloaded it unpack it all in the wwwroot folder.
    Then goto wwwroot/gamedata/ like this

    and open with notepad++ external_variables
Then change "http://toxdeveloping.tk" to your hotel domain.

    sixth step open the ports:
goto control panel and then firewall and advanced settings like this

then goto inbound rules and click new rule..

    Then Click port.
and put in the bar 3306, 30000, like this EDIT: dont add 30001 thats the MUS Port.

Then just click next until you can name it and name it whatever you want like this

Now open your emulator in PlueEMU/bin/debug/ Open Plus Emulator

You are now done with your hotel setup.

let me know what you think made it cause boredom took over.

    Hello,

it tells you whats wrong it both pictures, your iis is unaviable to be found so you must've set that up wrong.
In the emulator it tells so it cant connect to a specific mysql server so check your config again in plusemu/bin/debug/.

To begin with, there is no "158.85.79.94" directory in your wwwroot which that picture clearly indicates.
Secondly, your MySQL is probably not even installed.

I have the same issue with IIS, I have followed the tutorial twice and both times ended up with the same issue?

Great tutorial though. Straight forward and basic. :)

Emulator can't connect to Mysql Server?

If you're getting a error with your emulator such as cannot connect to mysql server then its because you've probably not edited the emulator configuration file, replace your config file with your mysql password, database name etc. Then reboot the emulator to see if that's solved it.

    The actual CMS not working?

This is probably the same as above, you've forgot to edit your configuration file, therefore make sure you edit that by putting in the the database name, password etc. If you haven't got a domain then link everything up with your server ip or localhost. (Example - http//(server ip here).

If you're still have trouble then paste your config files below and make sure you blank the important stuff.
