yea "blade" but lamina when I see the place that cuts things cuz I dont said about "all the blade" and just that place ;P , it's a little slim :(. but it's okay , I dont know nothin about 3ds I can be sayin some ****s =P .

Yes that is the blade.. (the basic sword parts are 'handle' and 'blade'.. then (evolving a bit) we have the 'guard', 'pommel' (counterweight on the low end) and an elaborate hilt).. Some use to call a sword a 'blade', that is not all wrong i suppose, but a 'blade' is more generic i think.. can be a good knife, a sword, even an ax, etc.. But when a movie villain says "thou shall swallow mi blade" he probably mean this part (that you say is thin, but they are kind of thin really XD).. (blade is exactly the 'lâmina')
About that Polish sword perhaps i will make the guard only, to collect (the blades are a separate subject hehehe).. That sword is more of a 'finesse' sword, i don't think it would be very good for Priston, Priston 'likes' "brute" swords XDD, claymore-like :)

A "blade" is "an edge for cutting". Even aeroplanes have them in their propellers or jet foils.
It is most effective when both front and back are as thin as possible, while still retaining strength not to break. If the rear of a blade is too thick, it does not "cut" so much as "chop". (like a hatchet) This is a common fault with modern mass produced kitchen knives. (Top household tip :wink:)
