Is there a way to inject WAN IP into HTLauncher.exe.. anyone can help to figure out.
situation is i setup a private server locally,it only works for local ip 127.0.0.1, but doesn't work for LAN/WAN IP.

if it's for lan, you have to adjust serverlist.txt from all zone, dbsrv, msgsrv and client it self to your server ip address (server unit) 127.0.0.1 is use for local host onlyOriginally Posted by tantracn

to acquire my ip, i can get it here, What's My IP Address? Networking Tools & More im i right? but if i place that ip on dvsr msgr and all zone i get binding failed what shuold i do?
i forgot to say im using router....

umm ip you'll get from there is dynamic ip, you have to acquire static ip from your ISP.
static ip from ISP = public ip address
hmm how about if i change it to static ip then manually put the ip given by the router not from my ISP is it going to work or not?
never mind about this question, i already get it my smartbro connection has only dynamic ip, maybe all i need is a proxy server so i can make it online, but if you have other suggestion pls let me know...
that will work only for lan connection. and check if your router is set to distribute dynamic ip address. if so that won't do base on my experience. since dynamic ip change gradually everytime you start your SU(system unit/cpu)
about the suggestion, if you really want to make it online you can use hamachi. but number of user will have a change to connect through your server. if I'm not mistaken its about 20 to 30 simultanious user (max) can play through your server.

ah I see, I have beta server before and it's on hamachi to. that will be a good testing site before purchasing public IP with my ISP server up and I'm using supermicro for server if I finish server or if I purchase it I will be hosting private serverthank you very much infinium, now i know why i cant make it online, about hamachi we already tried it many months ago hehehe sad to say your right limited user can log in to the hamachi,, anyway the name of my tantra private server is TantraVeteranshope so hahha
