    Remember to add the IP you used in Admin.txt, and open both zone 1 and 6 if you want to try the game within the same pc for test purposes. Also, open the ports you used for each zone you want to open like 3001 3002 and so on. 3001 is used in Zone 1 which is the Mandara map, well you can change that if you want too. And edit also the file which is the HTMessage, and add the IP you use in your serverfiles.

    Thanks for your prompt attention Shichibukai. I think there no problem with my ports because there are no error with I open these

    What @KyleMarvin and @Terrified observed is that my htsmessage.txl, tantraparam (server and client), website login, and serverlist.bin did not connect to each other I did look throughout this forum but I have no luck looking for the answers on how to successfully connect them.

    Even though there are no errors when you open those. There are Operating systems that requires you to open a port for the specific program you use. If you are using Win7 , Win 2008 r2 , 2003 etc except xp you are required to open the ports to be able to use each map. In your serverfiles serverlist , dont add 0 1 or 03 etc, use that one in your client only. HTMessage.txl should be connected to your gamelogin.

    Re: [HELP] Sorry connection to server has failed.

    @Shichibukai

    Again sorry for dragging your attention to this issue and I appreciate your kind assistance. You might want to look at this infos.

    Website Registration

    Account successfully forwarded to my MS SQL Server

    Website Login (using the newly registered account)

    Edited/hexed HTLauncher.exe (version 6.9.0.6)

    Client's Serverlist.txt

    Server's Serverlist.txt. Also my Admin.txt and LocalIP.txt both have my Local IP address (192.168.254.100)

    HTMessage.xml converted to HTMessage.txl (using the link provided by @Terrified http://forum.ragezone.com/f787/tantr...49/index8.html) and pasted it in the system folder of my client's folder

    Tell me what did I missed and what's lacking please..because at the moment I have this error..

    ..the worst thing is that I can login any account without even registering it first :(

    Issues I have so far are:

    - When registering there is no .TAD file created
    - I can login to the game even with or without registering an account.
    - Stuck at server selection screen.

    Server files used posted by @pher14344 http://forum.ragezone.com/f786/free-...n-6-9-a-940565
    Client file posted @heterojeneo http://forum.ragezone.com/f786/k5-se...orever-883482/

    - - - Updated - - -

    So after few days of escalating I found the culprit of this miserable "Sorry connection.." error. So to start on how to fix this issue first we go to this optional procedures (optional because I didn't know if this procedure fix the issue or not. I just happened to dig in here before I successfully connected to the game and create my own character.) Anyways if you have tried to transfer/change your server files to another directory you must delete the old once that pass through your Windows Firewall - Go to Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Inbound Rules

    Base on the image as you can see the inbound rules are clean no more unecessary directories. Before, this portion here is quite messed up because I frequently change the directories of my server files that is why it made my computer think that I used different application well infact its all the same. The only difference is that they are on different directories. So for this I have to say that you must be organized with your files.

    Next is the "correct' database as what @Kallyanna suggested that ODBC is most likely the issue. So what I did was, since I use WebZoneGamerz's webpage (link provided in one of my post here) file I have to match its Php content to my database tables. Thankfully, as I came across to a certain section/thread here, I found a certain forum user who managed to share the correct database tables for WebZoneGamerz (link provided in one of my post here). Hence I deleted my current database tables and attach those new files I downloaded and then created ODBC connections (BILL_CONN, Tantra, UserLogin) in both User DSN & System DSN under SQL Server.

    To create ODBC Connection Go to Start > Control Panel > Administraive Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

    Lastly, I escalated again my server files and saw this unusual file named "cmd.cmd". I opened it through Notedpad++ and saw this interesting directories of which I think I missed to implement and modify. So I modified it accordingly to match the directory of my Server files and save the changes and opened it and it gave me this unusual drives

    So once again to complete the process. Open DBSRV.exe > MSGSRV.exe > item_server.exe > SQLDAEMON.exe > ZONE01.exe > ZONE06.exe > Open XAMPP Control Panel and Start Apache. > Open Star HTLauncher.bat (reference and thanks to @Terrified)

    Open now for questions :P

    Open cmd and type this without the quotes "netstat -a" let it finish and see if Port 1000 is used by another program of yours.

    @gamepro

    You might want to take a look and double check your ODBC connections and make sure you are using the correct one and they are connected properly to each other because as far I know even though your ODBC connected to each other but didn't have the correct tables in it. Its nothing and it will affect starting the game.

    @starlord

    You should place it in SQL Server NOT in SQL Server Native Client

    Also where is your SQL Browser and what version it is?
