You might want to contact your Web Hosting company as the settings may vary from each Web Host.

Use a service like Cloudflare.com they have a free plan. Basically when someone resolves your domain name it will point to their server instead and they will forward all traffic and requests to your server in the background.

Hey guys I wasn't trying to be offensive or anything but, cloudflare can be ddosed with their free service and you can only block a limited amount of ips because of it. That means that you cannot view the site or use the patcher because of this issue. Sorry

If you want to secure your server don't hide the ip. That is child's play. Remove RDP and RDC features and file sharing. Use an outside source if you want to remote to your server. Also there are too many program that will direct link to your physical ip address and cloudflare only protects port 80 with their free service.

Everything can be DDOSed, the question he wanted was answered. He did not list a budget or wanting paid etc.

You are correct @dTantra and I was only trying to dissuade them from utilizing the free service. Besides again that only protects port 80 as said before. They still can figure out the IP from the client if it is connected via command prompt as well as other tools if they are using game guard.

Setup nepean router. then configure a PFsense, then forward local port then setup a netbsd firewall with hyperion or hyperfilter. Get a free web hosting and forward your masked ip.

    that is my comment.
