i know this is like asking for a kidney or heart but, the param i have is from hetereojeneo and it doesn't work. Any ideas on what I am doing incorrect when I change it from xml to tpa format? or is there an area that i can download a good copy of the xml version? i don't care if it hasn't been translated or anything else done to it since i can do this myself. Thanx guys.
Ok you guys were correct. I needed to follow the directions in the video a little more closely but, now I cannot get past the login portion for 4.1.0.2. Any ideas on what I am doing incorrect?
better to try your server on test mode i mean offline mode, compile your xml's first there are some post here that have the tools to compile xml to tpa and also there's no tools yet that compile tpa to xml.

What version of your launcher you use? some post are same as yours, but your title are not same in your problem in your launcher.
in my client when the "Please connect again" appear the problem is the account or password, wrong password or no account exist in the server files.
I am using 4.1.0.2. I have correctly configured a Kathana 4 server with hardly any difficulty. This is quite baffling especially since I have tried to make sure all was configured correctly. My server has a static ip address with my commercial internet service. There are no ports blocked. Any help would be appreciated.
is there a difference in tad files from K4 to K5 or the md5 hash code?
I am currently using my webtemplate that I have used with my K4 server.

If you completely configure your server files, What about client side?
try to decompile the launcher and edit their settings, i think there's some guide on how to edit the tantra.exe and the STTantra.exe. I forgot who post it here.
Already did the HTLauncher and STTantra.exe. There is something wrong with the HTMessage.xml that I got from heterojeneo. Using my K4 HTMessage I am able to get past the login portion now but, cannot see any server names. Any other ideas? Or do you have a HTMessage.xml copy that I may have? Also is your server running? Thanks
More news on the issue. It doesn't seem to be connecting to my DBSRV.exe or any other version of the DB that I am using.
Also my GMTool will not connect. Is there something else that I need to configure? I have my GM Permissions set correctly. Thanks

I don't know if htmessage from k4 compatible in k5, Configure your dbsrv first. nice for you your GM tool have succesful in permission, in me don't have, i'm using k4 first before upgrade to k5 or k6.
GMTool is working fine now. I figured it out. Besides GM Permission in DBSRV folder I had to add it to the SQLEXPRESS TantraGM as well. It is connecting now but, my client still is not. Do you have a good copy of HTMessage.xml for K5?
