The chatfilter.txt file is simply there for filtering out bad words and the abuse of the length of words. It however will NOT offer much in the way of protection for your server.
Be sure to only allow the ports you need through in your firewall and block all others. The next step is very simple.

DISABLE YOUR FILE SHARING AND RDP" - This will keep your web server from being pinged and eliminate the need for utilizing clients such as cloudflare.com. It isn't a bad utility but, if you use it then it can be pinged and your site unreachable.
