@infinium is there a solution resolve ddos k4 zone not to crashed? aside from paying 200$ for total security
haven't encounter that problem yet, so as for me no point to search until I encounter that
what zone you used? what version?
Param, check the level of the mobs.
@infinium what server you from why never encounter down zones zone 1 and zone 10
GMDeveloper i think ddos is not the main problem why your zones are always crash .
try to disable those special character such as % and # .
and maybe try to use some anti ddos program . :)

With K4 it doesn't matter you will have to pay out of pocket to stop ddos attacks. Prices range in the several $1000 for good ddos protection. A software solution will not work for protection. You need a hardware solution.

It is not necessary to invest $ 1000 / month for a good DDoS Protection, unless you have a really large project, which doesn't seems to be the case here.
There are good alternatives in the market :)
the supposed good alternatives are exactly that. you get what you pay for. It is hard to filter good traffic along with bad traffic when you don't know what you are looking for. Most programs that are out there that commit the ddos attacks like LOIC utilize good packets to overload the zones. Again you get what you pay for.
It depends of the company you work with too.
Paying is the least option. But I suggest a mikrotik or nepean routerboards. DDoS is a combination of fever and flu. Anyone can buy good items, expensive ones, but it is useless unless you are earning 5x the hardware amount.
