Figured it out. Somehow or another the files got misconfigured. I redid the client and now it works. Now I just need a better and more complete TantraParam.xml for K5/K6.

There was a problem with my HTMessage so I redid it and then it started to work bud.

Hey guys sorry for the caps but, this is a major issue that i am experiencing and has nothing to do with the htmessage ect...it says cannot connect to server in the client but, i am able to run the client here and on my laptop with no issues at all and connect. Any ideas please???????? My ip address is a public one cuz i pay for commercial internet and the ports on the server are open with no issues. Thanx please let me know what is going on.

for k5 you must use your ADMIN or GM char to open every map so other people can log in to your map

You must use gm command ( i forget the command ) and open the map
what the hell are you talking about? i have setup a k4 server and it did not require such a thing. lol
Anyhow if you want to spread the message this is how to fix it. Don't use Login-TS.exe(test server) instead use Test-DB.exe. This fixed mine as I did not pay attention to what I was told before. Thanx for trying to help but, that is a load of $%#$ and whomever told you should be shot. LOL j/k

hey bro it is simple just recompile your client that includes htmessage, tantraparam and clientres along with your serverlist.txt file(it needs to be pointing to 02 or 03 not as others have said) also if you are using gotantra server files make sure that you use the test-db.exe file in the dbsrv folder. make sure that you also compile the tantraparam for the server as this will cause issues too later on if you don't. use hetereo's htlauncher with security 4.1.0.2 not 6.9.0.6.(too many issues) make sure that you have encrypted your htlauncher with your ip address and that you have a s_game folder with all the login.php files in it.(without doing the last 2 steps you can only run in test mode and not normal mode) if you plan on just using it on lan than the login-ts.exe file in the dbsrv folder is just fine and it works with the k5 gmtool.(ts = Test Server) but, if you plan on using a gmtool that works with online then you will need to use the test-db.exe and a k4 gmtool with the param only compiled for a k4 client.(it does not need the extra encryption and it will not work with the extra encryption.) all tutorials can be found here on the site for compiling the param and using hex to edit the htlauncher.(it is no different than setting up the htlauncher like k4 server) Anyhow good luck and god speed man!!!! Bro there are tutorials here and they are very simple but, what I use is CFF Explorer which is by far simpler. You can copy from the file to a text document and make your modifications and then paste it back to the file and be done.
