    Alternative to Hamachi

    Spoiler:
I figure most server owners on this site are large enough to have hosting and whatnot, but people who use Hamachi for smaller servers might like this.

Recently, Hamachi lowered their free group limit from 8 to 5, which is annoying.... really annoying.

I recently had a chat with the guys who make Evolve(Think Steam+Hamachi) and despite their programming not using static IP's yet, I was told about a project they had before Evolve.

It's called "LAN Bridger", and I don't know if there have been threads on it, or if it even works with MS, but I figure its worth a shot. LAN Bridger - Click. Click. You're connected.

I was told that in the coming months, Evolve will support static IP's, but until then this looks like it could be a large problem solver for us smaller server hosts.

(I so totally do not mean this to be advertisement, I just wanted others to know there is an alternative to Hamachi)

Edit: Tunngle is being a bitch, and is crashing every time I log in.

I have portforwarded. For whatever reason, I cannot seem to get my WAN ip to work.
I kind of prefer having Hamachi/Tunngle anyway. It serves as a whitelist.

Ive spoken directly to one of the Devs for Evolve. They say that the next party update will allow static IP's. The update may take up to 2 months to implement though.
