I haven't tried Ice Knight yet. Probably will soon though. I did try PvP though and I lagged to high hell in it. Mechs are still too OP for it, so if there's a Mech in the match, get out while you can. Hopefully Ice Knight isn't the same way.


@offTopic: One thing I have noticed though is there are quite a few people in this section that are so set in their ways, that no matter what Nexon does, it will never be a good thing. I for one, am glad to see them adding more things. It gives more content to the game, more options for players during playtime rather than just training/questing.

this mode is pretty good if you ask me, and after reading some threads in the nexon forums the majority of maple'rs that play GMS like it too. And do you have to pay money to play this mode ????

PS: and to be honest nexon has no other way to make your money that you earned unless you buy nx. (ad money is not money you earned)

The majority of the players will simply like anything Nexon throws at them. Plus, it's easy to 'like' something that hasn't even come out. Just because it looks colorful in the trailer.

That makes sense, well thats one of the reasons Nexon had so much revenue threw the past years.

On another note, Nexon will keep doing what they can to make money. The gaming industry is no longer about feedback and change from the players, it is about getting those media bytes and keeping people interested. It is about revenue and competing with other games. It was about the players when Wizet ran GMS. . . but no more. . . no more :(

It actually looks like it would be fun, I'm not sure how the PvP matchmaking runs, but it would be great playing that gametype with a bunch of friends.

It's Carnival PQ turned into some kind of PvP thing. All they did was turn players into one team, and the boss into another. Same updates over and over, taken from old updates.

What level are you? I'm 121 and I get about 5% per 3-500 points... I don't consider that bad at all when you take into account I can get up to 1300 points every match, which is about 5 minutes long. It's about 7-10% per match.

I'm pretty sure at 121 you could get better exp other places depending on your class, so in comparison the exp is pretty weak.

True you could, but with the PvP/Ice Knight, you get BP points and Gallant Emblems from the quests to exchange for numerous items, so it's worth it imo. Unfortunately though, the only places to really get a better exp rate of 7-10%/5 minutes is LHC, which can be a bitch at times to find a party.

They're a Resistance class, so they're OP at everything.

These Nexon updates are in my opinion just a whole lot of fluff. All they're doing is prettying up their updates with names and fancy pictures/videos, and offering new content by putting in new classes that don't balance at all with the current ones. All in an attempt to draw back in old players for a few days before they get bored when they realize it's the same basic copy pasta content with a few new fancy animations.

They should've stopped at Pirates (or before), and worked on instead balancing the existing classes before going off on a cocaine fueled update spree.

Then again, this is just all my opinion. And not a very well worded one.

I really hope they’re gonna make it a tad difficult because it’s too easy. You’re supposed to have fun when you’re playing in Ice Knight mode. I think Nexon can pull it off...

I've played it. It sucks. The only fun about it is when you get to be the ice knight. But that's rare.
