Hi, I'm going to start making posting KMS updates, mainly because Spadow's blog is down and it would now the future of GMS.
I did ask a Mods permission for anyone that wants to know.



The new MapleStory update is called MapleStory Legend! The previously known Cannon Shooter will be released on July 7. The Archer Hero’s name is Mercedes, and she is the Queen of Elves. She will be released on July 21. The Resistance warrior is called Demon Slayer and will be released on August 4!

The Cannon Shooter:

The Cannon Shooter job is an extension of the Adventurer class. He uses a new weapon called the Hand Cannon. He is focused on power. As he is sailing with his crew Skipper and Riding, he is attacked by a Balrog and shipwrecked! But on that island he finds Stoner, who enlists him to fix the cannon on the island and send them home.



He also has a partner, Monkey! Monkey helps the Cannon Shooter out in a lot of his skills, and even buffs him up with things like Monkey Magic.

Mercedes:

Glamour and elegance, the Elf Queen Mercedes has awoken! She uses a new weapon called the Dual Bowgun. Her play style is all about quick movements and attacks, and also combos.



She, like Aran, was cursed by the Black Mage and frozen in ice. Her town was put in a deep slumber as well. After she has awoken, she decided to travel the Maple world and defeat the Black Mage to lift the curse that is still set on her town.
At level 70, she gets her mount, the unicorn. At 120, it grows!



Mercedes resides in the new elf town Eurel. This town was shown during the Maple Idol event, a secret easter egg by Nexon!

Genders:
Mercedes is not going to be a Gender Character! Seems like that from name.

Demon Slayer: (I've got a feeling this is gonna the best class!)

The Demon Slayer will continue the Edelstein and Black Mage stories. He was a part of the Black Mage army but then his brother was killed by the Black Mage. In rage, he betrayed them and almost died. However, he woke up in Edelstein, and decided to join the Resistance to exact revenge upon the Black Mage and his army.



Demon Slayer has the Demon Force System. Instead of MP, the Demon Slayer uses Demon Force. The Demon Slayer uses one-handed maces (blunt weapons), and on his other hand is his Force Shield. I assume that it will be sort of a permanent equipment for this job. The glow of the Force Shield changes as the Demon Slayer advances.



He collects it by attacking monsters, and it appears in the form of glowing orbs.



This job is very special since you can customize his skin, face, and more.



The Demon Slayer does not have a mount per se, instead, he has wings, which he gets at 70 then upgrades at 120.

A couple days ago a new patch was released to Tespia, and the new jobMercedes is available!

Quick Move System:

Everyone’s speed has been increased by 20%. The Quick Move system has been added. Click a button on the minimap and you can choose to be moved straight to a useful NPC on the map! All the quests in Victoria Island have been reorganized! They are now very good exp for those under level 30!

The Legend Festival:

The Legend Festival has begun! Many items are available for purchase for Legend Coins in the Legend Store! A full AP reset, SP reset, advanced scrolls, many Legend weapons, many Legend scrolls, and many equipment are on sale!

Profession System:

The profession system was improved greatly. All levels of every profession now need half the amount of experience, and all crafting gives double experience. The amount of fatigue you have each day has been increased from 100 to 200. Fatigue replenishes itself faster now. You can now buy an Advanced or Expert ticket from Menz for the new hidden mining/herb rooms. Also, when crafting, you can now make more than 1 item at once. For example, if you have the materials to make 10 bronze plates, instead of making each one separately, just input 10 when it asks and you’ll make them all at once!

New Terrain:

The terrain of Nautilus Harbour has completely changed. Every single map has been reorganized! For example, here is the new interior of the Nautilus. In Henesys, the terrain was slightly changed. Two new monsters have been added in the Golem Temple area, Fire Mix Golem and Ice Mix Golem.

The Unicorn Pets:

The third unicorn pet was added, Unicorn Genie! If you have all 3 Unicorn pets, you will gain access to the Pegasus Riding skill.

The New World:

A new world will released with Cannon Shooter, it is called Legend. Another world will be released soon, when Mercedes is available to the regular server.

Pretty Big News Today! This will not be a massive post on what what's happening but just a short statement on what's going to happen.

Yesterday it was announced that the KMS server will be having maintenance to implement the Cannon Shooter Update!

There's no such thing as best class. Off course the new classes will be overpowered when they get released, making them the 'best'. Whatever, as soon as there's a decent ammount of players on these classes they'll be nerfed and nobody will care about them anymore. Nobody cares about pirates at this time. When they got released everybody was frantic, too.

Your right in everything you said my friend but throughout every class in MapleStory, there will and always be a 'Best' class parse.
Whether it be from easier starter training (Evan), to better skills, better damage, and overall awesomeness.

KMS ver 1.2.136 – Cannon Shooter & the Legend Festival!



The patch is finally over! Cannon Shooters have been released~!



The Link Skill system has been added! At level 70, the ability to link a skill with another character will appear. Press the button and choose a character to link them! You can change the character that the skill is linked to once per day. The three skills that use this system are Pirate Bless, Elf’s Blessing (which does not give you 10% experience like the EXP+ for Cygnus, it gives +10% exp from monsters), and Demon Fury.

Demon Slayer Clarification:



A an article by mazefind and a post on Maple Inven about the new class Demon Slayer and he then let me know about it! Upon reading it, I realized that Demon Slayers do not ONLY use one-handed blunt weapons!

Demon Slayers are able to use two weapons. One is the one handed blunt weapon, and the other is a new weapon called a sceptre (홀), which can be classified as a blunt weapon but it’s a new type.

Also, the Force Shield of a Demon Slayer is not an equipment but a fusion of their physical being and the shield. It holds the Demon Slayer’s Demon Force, which he collects by attacking monsters.

Now all three classes from the Legend Update will all have new weapon types associated with them! How interesting…

It's KMS -_- No Hackers, Botters get caught within 1hour, Bugs are actually test props.

If GMS was exactly like KMS (Version, Coders Testers etc..), GMS would be 10x better than it currently is.
