If you're referring to what I think you're referring to, that was actually an April Fools joke a couple years ago, and I believe the actual game that was supposedly "Maplestory 3D" was actually Dragonica.

Basically but there was an idea for it to be 3D in the first place.

Wizet doesn't "own" MapleStory.
They are a division off of Nexon Inc.

o_0 Whatchu talkin bout Willis? Wizet created MapleStory. Nexon is just the publisher of the game. So yes, Wizet does own the game. Maybe not in entirety, but they are the creators and owners of the game itself.

In other words, in a legal standpoint Nexon Inc owns MapleStory intellectual property (Mr. Korn, who works for Nexon Inc supports this statement. If Wizet still owned MapleStory, Nexon would not be the one sending legal notices)

Yes, Wizet merged with Nexon. They are still the creators of the game, which is what I thought you were denying. Apologies on that.
