MapleStory: “Thief Edition” is a mobile action role playing game (RPG) which is based on Nexon’s MapleStory, one of the world’s most popular massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) with more than 95 million registered users worldwide.
“MapleStory: ‘Thief Edition’ is developed to give iPhone users the game’s original uniqueness as well as recreate the original features from MapleStory,” said Seunghan Lee, Nexon Mobile CEO. “Now we can enjoy MapleStory, which has been loved by millions of users globally, even on the iPhone.”
MapleStory: “Thief Edition” was developed with the theme of “Thief” amongst their mobile game series, MapleStory, which has exceeded 14 million downloads in Korea.
“Thief” describes Robin’s quest to become the greatest thief in the Maple World and includes the striking effect and game graphics from the original version on the iPhone device. It helps users learn and control the game easily and quickly. Additionally, game level and difficulty were reproduced based on the original version in order to match the iPhone user’s preference.
Meanwhile, users can enjoy the exclusive quests of the mobile game itself and to give more hours of fun, MapleStory: “Thief Edition” added hundreds of main and sub quests. Another interesting aspect is the character customization system. This system allows users to check how their characters change with items they acquire.
Moreover, users can grow their own characters by two different types of weapons, Daggers and Throwing Knives, and can change their class to Assassin or Thief depending on their level.
