My opinion about Maple.

MapleStory. I think we have all been addicted to it and we know the amazing feeling it was to wake up early and sleep late just to play this game. I remember waking up at 6am anxious to see what i sold in my shop, anxious to see what was new, everything was amazing. With the time i feel like this game has changed completely, i felt like there was nothing else to explore and that everything new that came out just wasn't good enough or interesting.

I remember playing Europe Maple Story when we didn't even have 4TH JOB, it was amazing, spending hours leveling , using 2x exp, hanging with people it was an unique exprience that no other game will bring to me.

After versions 80/90 this game was ruined, alot of new things came out that in my opinion, destroyed the game completely, scrolls that made weapons extremely powerful giving ultra dmg wich is no fun. I remember seeing 65att claws sold for 500m/1b when you were an Hermit and a NL hitting 10k/15k p/ star in levels 150 and so. Now no, so many jobs it's all a mess.

I feel like the game isn't unique anymore, here's a video that inspirated me when i was still playing.

These days if i go into MapleStory i feel like in a enormous city where i dont know anything and it's all changed , not to mention it's extremely boring.

I know many of you share my opinion because it's true.

An Advice to who's making servers: Stop trying to reach thoose v100+ versions because it's just as Maple right now... Shit.

I hope someone makes a server to bring us the oldschool gameplay.

Lol, exactly. I mean, maplestory is not a new/Beta testing game, why would they keep adding new jobs, and keep revamping/nerfing new/old jobs every few versions?

Talking about over powered items, they are keep coming up, like they added miracle cubes, enhancement scrolls, Pams Song; later they came out with those Shielding Ward/Shield Scrolls. Now Alien Cubes/Guardian Scroll/Perfect Innocence Scroll. Wtf? Pretty sure they will add more.

It is not content that ruined the game (excluding potential); hackers and NexonAM ruined it for the people that loved the game in the past.

New content that is free is always fun to play, and that is why people upgrade versions still (or why they should). There is only so much that no-talent WZ editing can do without modification to the binaries of the game itself.

Plenty of games have added to their class pool outside of the original. That's like asking Riot to stop adding Champions to their game League of Legends. It is all about diversity and finding a play-style that fits you. Clearly Nexon has perverted this by enabling advantageous items for real cash during these periods, but they do have to make some sort of profit margin since they are a company.

If you are seriously that concerned about the game-mechanics and the class pool, then you are blind to the real problem. Hackers that dupe items actually can have a positive effect on the economy (more hi-quality items being more widely available allows lower prices on most if not all items). To be quite frank, the prices in MapleStory are only as high as they are because the hackers that hurt the market are more prevalent than those that help it. For example, those meso farming sites (that receive their mesos via illegitimate sources) cause massive inflation because they introduce such a large stock of mesos into the economy. NexonAM is also guilty of this: Meso Sacks, need I say more?

Re-access your argument about actual content before you start making such outlandish claims that are false.

With Gamersoul hacks you can get to 120 in less than a day. Kind of destroys the purpose of dedication to the game to reach a goal.
