MySQL Query Browser or MySQL Workbench?

MySQL Query Browser and Administration was replaced with a more Visual Basic C++/C#-esque style.

    It's called, the "MySQL Workbench"
This is old news for some of you, but I just encountered this yesterday when setting up my server.
Personally, I find Workbench a bit harder to use because of it's hugely different UI, but like Query Browser it'll take some time to get used to it.
Instead of double clicking a table to view it's content, you have to right click and click view table data/edit or whatever, it looks like a heavier version of Navicat (never really tried navicat). It's also more blue.

When you double click on a schema, it has a "Tables" thingymajigger, you have to click the arrow besides it to actually go into all the tables that exist.

MySQL Query Browser was simple, this one is more complicated and probably made for more advanced users.

I personally am used to the query browser but I somehow think the new software has less bugs and I could give it a try.

Did they discontinue Query browser?... or are they simply just not going to update it anymore? Honestly I can't find any difference with workbench i find it the same but stupid. Query browser works fine don't know why they had to released 'WorkBench'.

Query browser is obsolete compared to workbench. but really, they both do the same shit, only one looks nicer.

I prefer query browser. No doubts that the workbench performs faster/is better overall, I just cba to waste my time learning it.

I had the same experience, but I'm currently using it and it's extremely neat, but you have to get used to it first.

I prefer SQLyog Community Edition over all. It's lightweight, it's fast and it doesn't have a massive GUI. All options that I need are in it and are easy to use. What do I need more?

I'm a GUI-whore, so I prefer Workbench. I've experienced less problems with it to as well to be honest.

I tried to open it but I couldn't. I dislike the latest version, still prefer the old one.
