I'm pretty sure Iran had a law where they wouldn't pursue copyright cases, unless the author of that work was Iranian himself (In other words you are free to pirate software (or bend copyright laws), as long as the author wasn't Iranian)
But then again holds the US Treasury Embargo restrictions so........

Don't remember where I read that, can't vouch for the amount of truth it holds though..
Oh PS, bandwidth is very expensive outside of the US

China's copyright laws aren't strictly enforced, but the Internet is.

Bandwidth around the world is dam expensive. I can't believe there is no limit and no fee in America for internet....
for Australia, we calculate each kb and mb and a monthly fee included.
Apparently in China, there is no facebook and hotmail. (it's blocked)For communication, they use QQ
What about everyone goes and finds a place to live in Ethiopia. They have no digital copyright acts :).

China seem awful strict with all their policies and what-not :S
I mean, come on no Facebook?
OT: Im not sure where Loas and Turkmenistan are but wouldnt it be real laggy if you actually hosted a PS from one?
You won't be able to get an internet connection that is good enough to host a private server in Turkmenistan, I'm not too sure about Laos though..
Given there's internet there, Somalia would be the safest place for your VPS.
No copy right law? o.o
