Aeon(M) - iPhone/iPod Touch Web Application

Aeon(M)
Codename 'Aeon(M)' (short for Aeon Mobile) is a small 'Mobile CMS' project developed entirely on jQuery framework and the jQTouch plugin for mobile development. It is an iPod Touch and iPhone WEB APPLICATION (not native) for any and all private servers.

How-To-Install

1. SVN checkout using:
   astudios-ranking - Revision 48: /trunk/Mobile
2. Open 'register.class.php' and modify the MySQL settings under the array, '$MySQL'.
3. Open 'index.php' and modify the server name, rates and status variables.
4. Open 'register.php', modify 'YourStory' to your server name.
5. ???
6. Profit.

FAQs

1. How do my myself or my players install it?
   It is not a NATIVE APPLICATION. It is a WEB APPLICATION that they access through your website via Safari. However, they can save this to their home screen for quicker access and sexier benefits (e.g. Loading Screen, Application Icon).

Final Notes
The original development thread was on KDev. Since I created that development thread, I did not make any modifications whatsoever to the script. Yes... I am completely out of ideas and I can't be bothered. Feel free to leave a comment below if you would like to make a suggestion (e.g. something to add) or whatever. I take little credits for this (besides the extremely sexy and easy to use registration class), as the core of this mobile site would had not been possible without the fine jQuery library and the amazing jQTouch plugin.

P.S. If you have any suggestions as to what script I should add next to my repository, feel free to make a request. Sorry I neglected my rankings. It wasn't worth developing for after I created a completely new and improved version :)

If you wish to distribute it to your players as a iPhone / iPod Touch native application, take a look at Phonegap, which will allow you to compile my web application into a native application.

I'm not so fond of web-based simulators, I would recommend you use WebKit which should simulate the iPhone / iPod Touch web environment better.

Yeap. In terms of real life application, this may well be just another one of those non-mandatory add-ons.

However, part of this release was to include my registration class too though -- since it wouldn't be of any interest if I released it without an example.
