Hi,

Like i said guys the files you know are leaks but allot of mmorpg server history is based on leaks and the only way for users to progress their servers is by sharing, now with a leak like this will prob benefit the entire community, because people will update and code new stuff and release and share, this will benefit everyone.

You are a member of a forum that has been online since 2001 proving mmorpg server files for free and yet you are saying "fail"? do you not understand that if it wasnt for community members of ragezone and others alike you would never even have private servers to begin with. The entire private server HISTORY is due to leaks.

I just hope the source obtained and released here is going to be used in order to benefit the community, clearly allot of work has been put into it and all credit should be given to the original developers but understand my perspective that within 8 years of doing ragezone Ive never not stopped a file release, yes I suppose its personal work but who has the right to say we are not allowed to publish these files when clearly users are exploiting the official maplestory servers , why do they get no consideration and yet destinyms do?

I agree with Mental 100%.

If it wasn't for Serpendiem/Matze who supposedly "LEAKED" there OdinMS files, you guys would never have a private server.

If it wasn't for KoolK who supposedly "LEAKED" his TitanMS files, you guys would never have a private server.

It's the same concept in this case.

By "leaking" this, people can improve on the files, and hopefully contribute back to the community.
Just like how OdinMS files were "released" and improved by the community so that we can progress more in private server development.

Any release can benefit anyone no matter how small it may be.
That is why RageZone is here. For MMORPG Development. So we can progress and gain new ideas and knowledge.

We, RageZone, are a team. We can all contribute and help each other.

That only works if people try learning rather then downloading a repack, hamachi, then making an ad thread, and it's just as easy to code things for a clean Odin Rev 988 or clean Valhalla. So, it won't benefit anyone because everything he has is already released to begin with, besides NPCs which would take 5 minutes or so each. There's nothing to update from this, and it won't benefit the entire community since DestinyMS isn't running on a repack, and requires coding(Definition here would be Copy&Pasting+Common Sense) which no one even tries learning inside of this section.

No one will benefit, developers will continue to hide their releases because of lack of credit and stolen work

That isn't a LEAK. Since it was with developer consent genius. That would be a release. Like the things I choose to release here, or at Valhalla, or the things I choose to keep to myself that are stolen, then released without my consent would be a leak.

Release or Leak. Either way, they are both beneficial to anyone. And that's what RageZone for.

Let's break it down this way.

If it wasn't for OdinMS, there would be no Valhalla OR DestinyMS. You realize that correct?
So if it wasn't for a "RELEASE" there would be no "LEAKS".

Mental, you shouldn't be giving yourself that much credit, afterall I recalled the RZ Ragnarok Section being total crap because the people who actually coded the source for Ragnarok have their own forums and the community on eAthena isn't horribly retarded. It would have been the same thing with OdinMS if Nexon didn't butt in. Leaks don't benefit anyone, it just causes the community to get more greedy and not do shit for themselves.
