Well it does actually. I executed the first code,
Code:
ALTER TABLE `accounts` MODIFY COLUMN `banreason` TEXT NULL DEFAULT NULL;
and tried registering and it told me something about 'macs'.
Code:
ALTER TABLE `accounts` MODIFY COLUMN `macs` TINYTEXT NULL DEFAULT NULL;
After executing the second it went well. ;)

Just went inside index.php and dig through. Then i spotted something.
The online users ur using right now, it looks at "1". Which means those who are attempting to login and not Logged in. Change it to "2".

Re: [Release] JCMSS - V0.5 - Most secure and stable script - AdminCP and UserCP
By the way, do I have to do something to the files to get my forum up or do you not have a php forum in it? Or is it meant to link it to a free-forum host?

Re: [Release] JCMSS - V0.5 - Most secure and stable script - AdminCP and UserCP
Ohh, please wait for V1.0, hopefully release tommorow, it fixes 99% of your questions :)
As for forums, its very easy to setup your own PHPbb forum :)

Hmm why did you removed the copyright in the footer?
It is obvious that you didn't make the template.
You can find it in pixel2life and free templates websites.

Erm, i gave credits to the template maker in the footer. When did i say that i made the template? If you got nothing nice to say about my stuff in my threads, go back to grinding on your laggy server.

Re: [Release] JCMSS - V0.5 - Most secure and stable script - AdminCP and UserCP
Is it just me or does it not come with a config.php?

Re: [Release] JCMSS - V0.5 - Most secure and stable script - AdminCP and UserCP
it says i cant login... info mismatch or hacking attempt has been detected

Re: [Release] JCMSS - V0.5 - Most secure and stable script - AdminCP and UserCP
the sha512 encryption thingy with the newer rev odinms, well not very new now, messes up all the stuff. if you want to recode your login_do.php, first fetch the username login, then query the mysql database for the salt value for that username, concoct the user input password with the salt value, and sha512 hash the whole value, and compare the output to the password for the user inside the database. aim me lingo1244 if you need clarification or something. also, if you want, i could get you a copy of my login_do.php to help you fix it if you dont want to recode it yourself.

it's just you lol. when you first put the files into your htdocs folder, go to your web browser -> http://localhost/install/index.php -> fresh install -> fill out information -> press submit -> follow instructions to delete your install folder.
then go to your htdocs folder, and config.php should be under the functions folder. :)

Re: [Release] JCMSS - V0.5 - Most secure and stable script - AdminCP and UserCP
PHP Code:
<?php session_start(); ?>
<title>Logging in...</title>
<?php
include('config.php');
$name = $_POST['username'];
$pass = $_POST['password'];
// Extract SALT information for user account name
$querys = sprintf("SELECT salt FROM accounts WHERE name='%s'",
mysql_real_escape_string($name));
$resultss = mysql_query($querys);
while ($rows = mysql_fetch_array($resultss)) {
extract($rows);
$salt=$salt;
}
if( $salt == null ) {
$sha512 = sha1($_POST['password']);
} else {
$endpass = $pass.$salt; //concoct user input password with SALT value
$sha512 = hash('sha512', $endpass); //hash endpass into sha512
}
$query = sprintf("SELECT id, name, password, gm FROM accounts WHERE name='%s' AND password='%s'",
mysql_real_escape_string($name),
mysql_real_escape_string($sha512));
$result = mysql_query($query);
$row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result);
if( mysql_num_rows($result) != 0 ) { //success
$_SESSION['login_id'] = $row['id'];
$_SESSION['login_user'] = $name;
$_SESSION['login_pass'] = $sha512;
$_SESSION['gm'] = $row['gm'] == 1 ? 1 : 0;
echo "<center>You're now signed in!</center>";
exit;
} else { //failure
echo 'You didnt input valid login details or a hacking attempt was detected.';
}
?>
Replace everything inside your login_do.php with this to correct all login problems, including hack attempts, cant login, etc etc.
It's just a minor modification to lukyjay's code. hope it helps:D
