Hey guys, the source is pretty good. I have a question, i have two PCs , how do i setup a LAN connection?. Also how do i edit the account from the other PC using the mysql from my PC. I fail to setup a connection that isn't localhost 127.0.0.1.

The error isn't your IP, it's your database. In Netbeans or Eclipse (whatever IDE you use), go to database->DatabaseConnection.java and change your MySQL schema to your own (plus change your user/pass if you modified them)Originally Posted by DivineUser

Okay, so this time i purposely leave the Step out that changed a line in the DataConnection.Java to"jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/v117?autoReconnect=true",
and i left it as "jdbc:mysql://localhost:"
then the error message changed and i got this instead.

WZ Folder/Etc.wz/CashPackage.img
open it in notepad or notepad++ or whatever you use
CTRL + F for "10003361"
It should look like so: <string name="0" value="10003361
Below it will be "/>
Backspace the part below it ("/>) so it's like so: <string name="0" value="10003361"/>.
That should fix it.

Wait.. there's something even more important.. How do i make my server public ? (Non-Hamachi)
I tried to port-forward and after i've done that, i tested it out with http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and it seems like i failed.. ( only port 80 passed )
So when i was about to go back to the page where i did my port forwarding, the page was unable to load..
I restarted my computer but it's still not working.. i get a "This webpage is not available" message ._.

You shouldn't be double posting soon to be triple posting all these help questions when you could use the Help section.
1 - your client, just modify the addresses for damage cap. As for UFJ, you have two addresses. The first address is for Infinite Flash Jump (allows you to FJ multiple times), and the second one is for Unlimited Flash Jump (Hold the key down and you fly)
2 - you have a "src" folder that you change and re-compile to dist and then replace. To learn how to compile with Netbeans, follow a guide: http://forum.ragezone.com/f428/tools...s-odin-406097/

Is there any way to get this to work with Windows 8? My friend replaced the original Maplestory.exe with the one for Windows 8 in the opening post and it still says incompatible application.
Windows 8.1 has no compatibility for v117.2. Some windows 8 builds are also not compatible with v117.2 as well, so there's nothing you can really do..
There's a solution to getting Windows 8.1 to work, I'll just leave a comment here and edit it later once I remeber the solution. Or maybe I'm just imagining things.
