Hey Judo, I have a problem when creating accounts with MapleBit and character in-game.
In MapleBit, when I register a new account, the accounts table isn't updated, and I can't login to MapleBit or my server using that account.
If I manually create an account, then go in-game and make a character, it is not saved, and the server console spits out a crazy java error. I'm attaching a picture, and I hope you can help.
For anyone interested, I found the answer thanks to the help of maplefreak26 and his script.
The MapleBit registration script doesn't input a birthday and banned time into the respective columns. Depending on the sql script used to generate the database tables, it'll put a default into the fields. If the script has all zeros as default, MySQL will return an error and refuse to input anything. The solution is to put a valid date as default for both 'birthday' and 'tempban,' or add a birthday field to the MapleBit registration page. This "date" problem applies to any sql table, it'll do nothing if it finds all zeros. Make sure to check your scripts and put a valid date as any "default" settings.
This goes for the character creation problem as well. This goes for the "characters" part of the sql script as well. The hit200 field defaults to all zeros, so SQL refuses to do anything. The console errors come from the fact that Java doesn't know what to do when SQL doesn't do its part.
I would love to use this source, if the client would run on windows 10
