[Release] Change the launcher!

I just discovered (i think im the first :D ) how to change the launcher.

Get Hex Workshop (Download: http://software-files.download.com/s...&psid=10004918 ) Thanks for linky, Glalexdas

Open up a Client. (you must have had hex edited it and changed the ip adress (!))
Now press Ctrl + F.

For Type, put "Text String"
For Value, put "http"

and leave everything else. Press okay.

Now change that link to yours. if your link doesent take up all the room, Select the leftover link, and press "Backspace" now click "Yes"

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP, YOU CAN DESTROY YOUR CLIENT THIS WAY. I ALREADY HAVE DESTROYED ONE!

Edit: i just rooted around since all my clients kept getting destroyed. THE URL MUST BE EITHER AS BIG, OR BIGGER, THAN THE URL THAT WAS ALREADY THERE. ALTHOUGH, IT CANT BE TOO BIG. IT CANT GO OVER THE DOTS(.) THAT IS AFTER THE URL.

I SUGGEST GOING TO CO.NR AND SIGNING UP A DIRECT THAT IS JUST BIG ENOUGH, OR KEEP MAKING FOLDERS AND PUTTING THE HTML FILE IN THEM, UNTIL IT IS BIG ENOUGH.

exmple if my site is: Xxx.com
and it need to be bigger so just write
Xxx.com
it is working.

Hey,

I tried this and am having some problems...

I'm using a client that works perfectly for people to connect that has had the ip changed. So far no one has had a problem connecting with it.

I found the link I needed to changed, changed it, and then saved it. When I run it though it still shows the normal launch window and then gives me an error after I click play and gg loads:

error code: 1104 (The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found)

I also made it so my link was the same size as the normal one...So then I tried changing setup in the default link setub (Just changed last letter) and then try that...I still get the same thing; default launcher, and error.

Anyone know whats wrong?

This is awesome but I have a question. How do I change the IP to connect to my server on the regular LAUNCHER? I have the modified version so I know how to do it on that but on the regular one how can it be done?

cause i have client that the "PLAY" thing dont show up when i get in game
only gg show, then it's geting in game.

i removed that from the client (CreateWindowEx Win32 API), change push 144 to push 0

open the client in ollydbg
