You are wrong,
This thread is very helpful.
This launcher wont work perfectly if u dun edit it.
They need exp to use Visual Basic 2008.
They can learn to edit.
It's nice, but what I recommend to make it better is:
- Change the buttons (Register/Homepage)
- Make your own Play button.
- Make it smoother

I never said it wasn't im just saying it should be more user friendly, and not having to edit then build your application. Reason what if they edit the wrong thing and mess up there copy, If you make a user friendly one that wouldn't happen and the people who would use it will be happier. Another thing they need exp to use it? then most of them wont bother to use your launcher and waste there time to learn how VB works. Its like giving a huge company and selling them a application for their company that they need and making them edit within the application it self and learn the language when they can have the final product.
Maybe re-post it when it gets better, all the points are up there. Good luck : ).

I Mean not making people have to download VB 2008, Having to learn VB Language and having them edit the application the hard way that's something people don't like from a application when they have to struggle and take time when they can have a user friendly easy to use application that takes minutes.

But how to make it User Friendly?
Make it where you don't have to download VB2008 and edit it from the inside for starters that would help plenty of people from having to download the VB2008 and wait 10-15 Minutes plus restart, Then having them to know what to edit or learn the language. Make everything "Located" correctly including the "Play" Button and such. I also saw from your code that you just leave the names as is when created, Meaning label1, etc are still named and such making it harder to code if you were to name them it will be easier for you to code a better launcher. I Also saw that you put a "Shell" Function, that's ok you can also put "Process.Start" after that line of code you put "me.close" , that only closes the form and not the application you should put "End".

Yes.
Edit this launcher, build and save it.
Then pack it with your client.
Upload it on your Website and let ppl download it.
Remember, tell ppl to start launcher, not the client. (optional)

When you mean "packed", is it possible to merge the client and the launcher into one file... ?
Something similar to the GMS launcher?
Basically the players will only download a file, in which when launched will run launcher first, then client...
