As Moogra stated (if you had read), the difference in "memory usage" and performance difference is negligible. Such difference is too insignificant to notice or even worry about (only in this case).

It's one query at start up and one when it shuts down.
That's barely any memory at all.

not every single query / io operation takes up alot of memory . It depends on how its being used , but this one should have no harm . It will not affect the overall performance.

Why would you even need to worry about performance after the server is off when its starting. When its off then you don't need this anyways. When your starting you are not lacking memory. Just the point that you can recycle memory should end this discussion anyways.
