That completely destroys the repack, setting everyone to rollback-a-paluusa. No fun.
And wouldn't it be easier for the source to just HAVE the essentials like TeachSkill?
Jeeze, we're just trying to get you to improve your source so we can actually use it, cause most of us have to do a complete overhaul before this repack can actually work. All the edits of Moople have been dramatic. Know why? Cause it doesn't work.
Yeah, i'm done ranting.
People should stop being at OdinMS rev 977 (or w/e). Maple DEV is way different now, if you can't work with my source then don't use it. And what is so hard about adding teachSkill? Everybody can do that, and about those commands. I have never been interested in commands, because I had other things to do. If you want extra's, then add them.
And I am not a pro coder, I just like to do this and I am still learning. So now shut up and come back when you've created your own source.
Oh and, suggestions for commands? I myself love random commands (pointing add the rape command in the source).

Dude you're just a leecher. You're asking a guy who would rather work on the stability of a server and bugs than unneeded necessities? Why don't you make a source or noob repack like everyone else who just leeches everything else off ragezone? Also to everyone complaining about RMI, it's because you're impatient and don't know a single thing about java. If you did know anything about java you yourself could easily go into the source and reroute the methods that you needed instead of asking Kevin to do it for you. People need to stop begging for help and actually learn for themselves *cough* stop being spoonfed.
Anyways, thank you kevin for this great source. Whenever I find bugs I tell you and you're right there to fix it for me unless I already fixed it myself. I will continue supporting MoopleDev because it is probably the most stable source at v83 that has the most features closely related to GMS which is not buggy at all.
I highly believe the players that are against RMI don't even know what RMI is other than (dumbing it down) it puts 3 bats into 1! LOL

Yeah, keep brown nosing, grow a pair and speak for yourself.
Don't get me wrong, this Source is great, it's just missing things that most people would expect. Not tryin to go shit in his pants like your doing to me, chillaaaax.
I don't hate Moople, I'd say it's the best for v83, it's just hard to work with, and for the people who are starting to learn, it's horrible, but we really have no choice. I REALLY, wanna use this Source, but I can't cause of all the setbacks. I can't use most of it, there's nothing to teach me since it's RMI'd, and the bats don't display errors like traditional servers do.
So heck, I think I might be allowed to complain.
Commands to add: !shutdownnow, !saveall, !shutdown <time>, !pnpc, !pmob, !strip ;)
Edit: Long story short, Kevin, your pack is good, but not great. At least not for the little noobies trying to learn like me ;3
Also, is your source code Multithreaded (If any are..)?
Edit Edit: Like in your source, I'm trying to add !saveall, here's the issue..
for (MapleCharacter chr : chan.getPlayerStorage().getAllCharacters())
Thanks to RMI, I have no idea where to get the Storage and Characters from.

Well, I could tell you, everything is more ordered right now.
Everything is basically inside Server.getInstance().
Here look:
PHP Code:
} else if (sub[0].equals("saveall")) {
for (World world : Server.getInstance().getWorlds()) {
for (MapleCharacter chr : world.getPlayerStorage().getAllCharacters()) chr.saveToDB(true);
}
Take a look at Server.getInstance() (:

Oh and I do like strip, but I enjoy it more when all his equipment get dropped (oh yes I am bad)

LOL! That's mean man! haha, add that, no seriously! I prefer doing that than banning someone anyday! Hahahaha.
Anyways, I just looked into.. net.server.Channel.java, and the
getPlayerStorage().getAllCharacters() was in there, so do you think this would work?
PHP Code:
} else if (sub[0].equals("saveall")) {
for (Channel cs : Server.getInstance().getAllChannels()) {
for (MapleCharacter chr : cs.getPlayerStorage().getAllCharacters()) {
chr.saveToDB(true);
}
}
player.message("SAVE ****ING COMPLETE **** ****ER *** **** BALL ***** ****** ****! HAHAHA!");
Re: [Source] [v83] MoopleDEV | Multi Worlds | Rev 115
Yes, that command works too. Now get to my help thread. xd

Omg, you should shut the fuck up. This is a GMSLIKE source so for the sake of god stop begging for commands. Do you think GMS has !strip ? Stop being a lazy ass.
You don't even bother leeching.
Re: [Source] [v83] MoopleDEV | Multi Worlds | Rev 115
Honestly, I feel stupid asking this, and it may have been answered already but i'm not going to look through 101 pages... When your a GM hide automatically comes on, and the skill isnt in the top right corner, so how are you supposed to disable it?

Use the hide skill to toggle.

Why must it disappear? There's no dual blades here.
Re: [Source] [v83] MoopleDEV | Multi Worlds | Rev 115
Someone PLEASE help me with this. I am SO close to running on Ubuntu.
Big bug here. Trying to run on a Linux and I set everything up correctly. Upon typing "sudo sh create_server_linux.sh" into the command line to create the launch_server.sh file, I get this error.
Code:

And teachSkill is needed? Wow just wow. What's so hard about cm.getPlayer().changeSkillLevel or so.
And if you don't like the removal of rmi, then get another revision which uses rmi. And if you can only complain, make a source yourself and get the fuck out of my thread.
Going to make a better command system, with a lot of commans. Any suggestions?
Oh, and about squads, I am recoding them:)
I suggest that you don't make separate command classes for "Admin", "GM" "Intern" because that makes everything messy and hard for people like us who are updating their repack with your source by following the change set on the SVN, and I added lots of commands and It would be such a pain to organize them into new classes now.
