Paste it anywhere on your site. Where you want people to see the vote button, put it there.

Those are HTML codes, not words. You have to paste it as a code, not a text.
You see:

a href = link
img src = image
</a> = close link

Those are all html codes. Many people have their vote buttons on their site without any problem.
