[TUT] How to change Locahost's ICON! [1st TuT]

Hey, well im Geert o-o
And this is my first TuT, i dunno if theres already 1 of this but yeah im just feeling to make it >.>
Well, Here we go! o-o
[PS: this is to change the boring orange mushroom on the localhost icon thingy o-o]

#1: Downloads!

Icon maker: Click here!
Mirror: Mirror!

Icon changer: Click here!
Mirror: Cant find a mirror and im to lazy to upload >.>

#2: Download and install icon maker and open it:


#3: make a design, heres the first part of mine: [TIP: seek a picture first!]


#4: Another piece of mine:


#6: AND another 1 o-o:


#7: And FINNALY the last 1 xD:


#7: Now SAVE IT and close after saving >.>, Then open up icon changer! [CLICK RIGHT BUTTON AND CHANGE ICON! ty xblackcat!]:


#8: click SEARCH at the top/left and w8 until you see your own maked icon:


#9: then right click on it and press *Set icon for Object* :


#10: And now your done "YaY" xD, My result:

nice share, this is quite good :) love the screenshots too and instructions :O
i never actually used this, the one i used looked like crap and always bugged on differnet icon sizes like 16x16 and 32x32.

Then you changed the icon like 10 times or 5 ost >.> or you changed name after icon change it >.>
OR you hex edited it more times >.>

Its corrupted, i always back up my file before making the change and when i do so, i normally wait awhile after its changed before i close the software :O

When It's done, (btw I choose the first option: "change embedded icoon") and I run the client its says, "clientname.exe" dont works anymore.... (Then in the dutch language ;) )

How can I fix that?

As geertoi earlier said, its corrupted probably because its changed more than once or edited beforehand. I suggest you backup the client in the future or use another icon changer, its not always success :S
