[Tut] How to make register an account without making a registration page

Well..i figured that some people were complaining that they couldn't make another acc on their server..and my friend told me how to do this, so ima make a tut. If this helps, then sticky it =]

Step 1 : Go open your MySql.

Step 2 : Go to accounts, then click edit, and click a blank space under 'username'.

Step 3 : Fill in w/e username you want it to be, fill in the b-day. leave password blank for now.

Step 4 : Go to this site : http://www.md5.br-design.co.uk/

Step 5 : Type in the password you wanna use where it says 'Input'

Step 6 : Press SHA-1

Step 7 : Copy the generated password into the password part in MySql.

Step 8 : Press APPLY changes and login to your new account =]

if people are using the latest version of odin they need a codding of sha1+salt so this only get people using v53 and lower, other then that good job!

Why just not create a Reg Page? Takes about the same time as creating 3 Accounts

You can also create a script to execute and add another account.
Example:

INSERT INTO accounts(name, password, banreason, gm, macs, nxCash)
VALUES('admin', 'admin', '', '1', '', '50000')

Using that you would create an account with the the ID - admin Pass - admin, blank banreason, the account is a gm (GM = 1) and the mac address = blank.

If you execute this and you encounter an error it is probably caused because your tables are named differantly than this just simply change them in the top line to whatever yours are.

I signed up but when i go to login it sits there for 10 seconds at the first login screen after i click login then it closes and says the connection to the server has ended
