With MapleLegends running now for over 3 years we are expanding our game availability by working on an Old School GunBound server. This was a project we worked on long ago (2014) but was mostly discontinued because we couldn't find a user-base. With a big user-base and audience now from MapleLegends, we try again.

When we made our post we generally went back to development of the game. Right now most work is related to linking MapleLegends stuff with our GunBound server (such as accounts), and after that most likely comes things related to our website and overall polish of the game,

Just want to let you know we've been in a wipe beta. Game is completely working, so if you want just hear the music and stuff again you can download it at Gunbound: Thor's Hammer Origins

May want warn you that an other server (gunbound classic) closed down recently, so there may be good players in there. I suggest playing with friends!

Haven't posted here for a bit.

The server is honestly, doing great. Yeah, not 1k or whatever. However, a lot of bigger servers such as Croosade, MapleMS are collapsing while we manage to stay afloat, even getting close to #2 spot on GTOP.

Summer Event this year is heavily delayed due to personal problems involving one of our devs IRL, but it's coming real soon.

And on top of that, we've also been working on our 'high res' client. It's not based on the v83 released one, since we do not like the UI positions it has. Also, v62 addresses are quite a bit different compared to v83 anyway, so we still had to find all of them ourselves.

WIP:











Furthermore, we will add checks in every single map, making sure things look alright and add in settings for each map separate (example: no floating tiles). This is completely manually done by myself, but worth it in the end.

MapleLegends always had the goal to polish things as much as possible, so we try to do the same with this.

The EXP gained goes in the corner, and the key config can be closed, meaning it looks awfully off-center if I were to center the main UI. Personal preferences:

The server is still alive and kicking, consistent on #2 now on GTOP after the decline of Aries (for now).

Server still doing great, still gaining more votes on GTOP, and more users compared to last year

- You can now type special characters in MapleLegends such as the European accents, Chinese, Korean, etc (Demo: Click)
- The chatbar in-game now stores unlimited message (Demo: Click)
- Alliances now show up in-game on character profiles (Demo: Click)
- Screenshots are now with print screen and not scroll lock and in true .png quality
