    Looking for C++ Developer

    Hey! Im Dan...

    I own and host Dans WoW Servers - http://www.dangaming.co.uk/ I am looking for a C++ developer for the 'ArcEmu' Emulator. You need to be very experienced and almost always online, i need someone possibly more dedicated than the server itself.
    WoW Emulators have bugs and always will, but i need a developer to help remove some of the more annoying bugs and make the server better! I have absolutely no experience at developing & compiling cores. Thats why i am looking for someone to take over that part. You must be fluent in the English language, as we need to understand each other.

    The server is 24/7 Instant 70, there are loads of custom items, events, quests, a custom teleporter & teleport item with custom battlefronts and 2 malls. I have a Team of Fantastic Game Masters but the server does lack players, (WoWScape is evil).

    Please check out the website and if you are interested, contact me via email:
    admin@dangaming.co.uk

    Thank you!

    just a quick question:

    Ascent is written in C language or not? If yes, then does it use any os specific library like unistd, conio and etc?

    P.S. where to find source codes?

    Re: Looking for Compiler

    Just keep in mind that these are only EMULATORS. Which means programs that try to be what they are not. This means they can't EMULATE everything because they are in fact not everything that the original is. Basically Emulators take all the Grafix from the Grafix files and use them in ways that simulate the original via the Grafix. So they may look, act like the original but they have major hurdles they cannot overcome to be like the original and this causes bugs. So in the end the result is that it is only a CLONE with lotsa bugs. It will be this way forever cause we don't have the original BLIZZARD core. We built a new one to act like it.

    Free from bugs? Oh man we still got 3.+ to adapt to. So conclusion is we aint even close to being bugfree.

    Re: Looking for Compiler

    then use that as thread name, not that you're looking for a 'compiler'!

    good luck finding one!
