I read the whole post and i agree with him, every word, good luck to Burlex, he deserves respect and im thankfull to him, again good luck :)

Burlex is the biggest famous person Iv'e ever met.. He have all my respect and hopefully ToxicWoW will die soon, those fags! Burlex if you see this, I hope you will make an awesome comeback one day. And I wish you the best, You have my respect man.

Yeah, Burlex is the best. I talked to him once in an IRC channel and got kicked by him ^^, but that's not the thing. I would like the Ascent project to continue, but it's not a god damn robot behind the works, it's a genius with a brain that has a life. I say that Burlex should take a HUGE break for a while and relax. He has been doing so much for all of us and we love him. If I could I would be sending donations to him right now, but I have some difficulties in that.

And so ascent will slowly die if this happens...That's from Burlex himself. It's going to be Kobold style. Bins will probably released every month or so, but sources will stay private. It's to ensure that servers like toxic-wow or whatever die.
Not really. You just improve on the Last Ascent file and constantly update it.
I've seen this kind of thing happen with other apps.... A version gets witheld, people insult the author, there's a bug, people insult the author.
I never got Ascent running, and I hope the SVN server doesn't end up going down, because I haven't even had a chance to compare Ascent and Mangos Y_Y

He can't release just the binaries, he would be in violation of the AGPL. Even if he is the lead developer, it wouldn't give him the right to release contributed works such as scripts.
We can't do anything even if he does go against the license, it would be hard enough getting support to enforce the AGPL even more so to find support for Ascent, which emulates a commercial pay-to-play game.
I do agree that people have caused him unnecessary trouble, but he needs to realize that there is little he can do to stop it. There will always be someone that wants all the credit, even when they have done nothing themselves. He just needs to learn not to take it personally, to inform the community, and move on with development.
Well maybee he will learn when he grow up :D in an meaan while evrybody think it will be dead but if you can get coders together you can always fork the project. The last open release burlux said you can do what you want with it as long as you leave credits in place. So grab it get an nise group together and plase it on svn and continue it if you like maybee that group can than do bether than it did go last times 1 step forward 20 backwards is not realy stimulating to go on :D

they will keep going on with releases but there will be some major and really awesome changes.
Burlex was a dick, really. His fault for attacking other servers and purposely making them crash. And then he starts QQ'ing when they fight back, what kind of a pussy does that.
Anyway, WCell is the future, so it's all good.
Wcell is the distant future. They have a ways to go before they can compete with Mangos or Ascent, not to mention they are platform dependent.

He doesn't crash servers, but he's trying to shutdown Toxic WoW becuase they kept flaming him while the 2.4 core were under development, how would you feel if thousands of people kept flaming you day by day?
