[ASCENT][CUSTOM] GM Vendors

sorry for the double post but i have a big problem

i executed 2.8 into SQLyog and logged in... but there were no items none not even the clothes u start off with. there was with version 2.6 but there isnt now and in the items table in my db theres only 10 items:

Worn Shortsword
Bent Staff
Worn Mace
Worn Axe
Recruit's Shirt
Recruit's Pants
Recruit's Boots
Squire's Boots
Squire's Pants
Squire's Shirt

the vendors and npc's are all there just no items, what do i do?

reexecute your DB
thats what i would do :)

Ok, dont run that buyprice query with sqlyog, it seems it'll just mess up your db.

I can t get this to work what do I need from Ascent Core: http://forum.ragezone.com/f114/lates...atabase-287088.
And for step 5 in the install 5) Run the extracted .sql file as a query.
Do I just go to file open then Execute all Queries?
Just to be sure my Database that is root@localhost or would it be ascent.
I got it never mind didn t download File Type: zip custom.shop.2.8.zip (24.3 KB, 72 views)

Says item not found for every item on every vendor, did I miss something? Maybe need to clear my cache?

EDIT: Ah, stupid me, made a new gm account and had no money. XD

it says that i need to update something that i dont even have..
i deleted my Cache folder and it didnt help.. i tried everything and it didnt work.. =(

I know that, I'm saying that some of the items don't have a price, the icon for the thing you need isnt there for some of the items, also on the gladiator items, when I buy them it says item not found, do you know how to fix this?

Gladiator items u need arena points which arnt implemented in ascent.

Use custom_shop_buyprice to fix the price for items that dont have prices.

Version 2.9:
Added custom_shop_buyprice_extend.sql so people can get rid of itemextendedcost.
Revised custom_shop_buyprice.sql so now it should run fast, and
you won't get anymore freezes or wait time.

And I have made a portal to GM Island.

Just got to make a SQL file... I hope I can do it right.

You think I should put it to where all the portals will also go to all starting places?

or maybe just into major cities?

Do you think you could give me an example for how to put objects into an SQL file?
