The vendors with buyprice works just fine, you just need to have enough gold or required items to buy them. I just tested this.

I'm also looking for some people who are good at making custom content for TerraNet custom, which I am going to form as an extention to the original TerraNet db, for those who use custom content.
what kind of custom stuff? Like weapons, armor, and stuff?

K i love your work, i even loved it more once you moved it to GM island..have a few issues though
first off the back of the room on the first floor, if you turn certain ways, the room "dissapears" with some really bad glitches and graphical tears, if you move foward again, it comes back, not sure if its the GM island map itself that is screwed up or what, just a minor thing.
second is that i did not find and after searching, find any vendors that have Offhand items, such as dps or healing offhands that you can wear in your offhand, i would like to include them, as there is some nice caster daggers, and 1 hander maces for healers, but no offhands to go with them
also if you could import all the head, leg and shoulder enchants from the various factions, i added them to my vendor on my server
Like the glyphs and spell thread stuff, only a handful of them, and it would make the Custom GM Vendors project that much more complete.
And what about arena points, are they ever going to develop a command to modify arena points, or should i just remove costs on those? not that i use the arena gear anyways.
One last thing, if i wanted to update my ascent server to newer revision, what would i need to backup or do, in order to save all my custom vendors, last time i updated i lost them all, and i had some others i added personally

The GM island bug is blizzard's problem, lol they just made the texture like that.
I'll add some offhand/enchants in the next update, but do give me some details on the exact types of items you want. Go on wowhead.com and filter out the type of item you want and post the entire URL here.
Arena points isnt implemented in ascent, just remove the cost for the time being.
You only need to backup the spawns that you personally added, or just all the spawns together with this:
If you backup your own spawns with the ones I put on GM island, then in the future you no longer need to use custom_shop_spawns because it will delete all the spawns first, then spawn the ones I made.Code:SELECT * FROM creature_spawns WHERE entry BETWEEN '50000' AND '50080';
k i made a list of what i would like to see implemented into another vendor for head/shoulder/pants enchants
also if you could somehow, filter out all the various resist gear into another separate vendor, like have a nature resist vendor, so don't have browse tons of vendors and find resist gear mixed in with the other normal gear
for example maybe put a nature resist vendor, that sells all nature resist related items for cloth/mail/leather/plate
arcane, nature, shadow, frost, fire
i would even help you out a bit if you need, with finding the items to add, but i don't know if u could write a query to do it, like you did with the other epics by level.

Pretty much everything on these 3 pages, should be added, cuz i was needing scopes too, and the other stuff works as well, it should have every shoulder/head/leg enchant and any other non-enchanting enchant
I started to post individual links, then realized its all under the same category on wowhead...<3 wowhead
Also if we could work on getting a vendor that sells all the best potions and flasks and all that stuff, that would be great as well, i know we can craft them all anyways, but be easier to just pop in and buy them, pop out lol.
