[ASCENT][CUSTOM] GM Vendors

Cool, but everyone should got these already?

Version 3.1a
Attempt to fix the vendor access bug.

Added buyprice query, this only makes items have 5x sellprice as buyprice.
Anything that have 0 sellprice obviously won't get a buyprice.

Added tier buyprice query, this allows you to make raid tier 1-6 items cost gold.
Default settings are T1: 100g, T2: 125g, T3: 150g, T4: 175g, T5: 200g, T6: 250g.

Im in GM Island and cant interact with vendors to.
Any help?

Try re-downloading, I updated it with the new npcflag

Make sure you have NCDB 1158 since it has updated table structure.

I have a strange problem... Vendor 50010 spawns then goes invisible, vendor 50011 blows up? And vendor 50013 does a strange snow aoe thing? Anyone know why this is happening??

Anyone got a fix for it?

I had the same problems with vendors 50010, 50011, and 50013.

I was using Ascent version 4252, went back to 3989 and those vendors now work correctly. Dunno if thats the only fix, but thats how I got them to work.

Me too, I have same problem with this vendors.

When i buy something go back to the first page, this is nourmal? Can i change to stay in the page that i'm seeing?

Might be some core issues, I'll have to see since I don't run a server thats up to date.

Do you add Arena Season 3 vendor too? :)

Yo channel, I got a question for ya.

I never figured out the "cursor" thing for the vendors. Like lets say if you wanna repair it gives you the anvil cursor.

What is that under? I'm good at sql but never actually edited that stuff and want to figure out how. lol

They seemed to have added some new columns since I was around... also the flags got changed.

Sorry, but I was looking into your pack today and I spawned all the NPCs. Is there ANY way to change the prices to honor/t6 tokens with Ascent 4.4-Trunk rev 4335 and NCDB 26? (I think it's 26...it's the newest one before they went underground.)

As of right now, the vendors sell the armor for gold. T6 for 250g a piece, don't remember the others.

I have a silly question and i know it's my tables but I am not sure how to fix it :(

on 2 of the sql's i get this error

1054 unknown column item extendedcost in fieldlist

now there's probably no fix to this as i kind of had to use 2 different repacks to get what i wanted. i was just hoping that maybe there was a fix :(

I used Sebkinne's guide to set up a Linux server and have eventually got the game server to load.


However there are no NPC's on the GM Island.

I used the following:

Ascent rev 4458
ad.exe to extract the maps and mpqe.exe to extract the DBC from the WoW 2.4.1 install on my XP PC
The Scripts folder from Apple's Ascent (courtesy of trunks94)
The databases from ABD (Ascent Blizzlike Database)

Is there an .SQL file somewhere I can download to add to the database ?

I don't want to have to load the NPC's manually since I need to be able to write teenager-proof instructions for my students to follow.

A more minor irritation is the fact that the first quest in Durotar (a fedex) is requiring 30 copper to complete :o\
