50+ servers using it including our own epicwow northerend realms
without crashes and problems hehe.
if ppl dont get it to work, they has configed something wrong ;)

sql updates can always be taken down from ncdb,s SVN for the blizzlike part
of my database (base part) and other updates from our own svn.

All ascent related parts must be taken to ascentemu.com and in bug forum
you can always get latest ascent and sql table updates from theyr SVN
and if you cant compile c++ yourself, you can find finish compiled
ascent,s here at ragezone, or other wow contribution forums.
but as i said, the ascent i found and putted into my zip
had some strange errors that effected some, but that was
fixed by ascent in theyr newer releases after that revision 2815 that
followed in my database (it was the newest stable when i released the database)
Oh, and 3.5 stable are more bugged than the new 2.8 stable rev 2880.
and after rev 3554 they removed normal support for .lua scripts
something that does fuck up all my new custom instances that im
working on + that all instances in outland stops working as they shall.
so i would not use any ascent over rev 3553. just a advice if you
want a stable database. we are currently using ascent 2.8 stable rev 2880
at our own epicwow realms, and has not had a single crash yet.
not as i have seen anyway hehe

all upgrades or modifications to newer ascent is on own risk, and all ascent bugs must be taken to those that actually made ascent. dump files is ascent related stuff. for theyr developers.
but be sure you runned all sql updates that ascent made from 2.8 stable and up to 3.5 if you planning use that.

I have this error here when i tried with ascent 3.5, "SQL query failed due to [unknown column 'muted' in 'field list'], Query: [SELECT acct, login, password, gm, flags, banned, forced language, muted FROM accounts]

sql updates from theyr svn!!

ascent, cause thats not my work, all ascent issues must be taken

if you use a newer revision than last stable 2.8 rev 2880 on my database
its 100% at your own risk, as its been build after 2.8 structure from NCDB blizzlike system
Everytime i start the realm it says Access denined for user `moocow`@`localhost` and when i check the realm config i can't change that :S

you shall only use ascent.exe and logonserver.exe...
realmserver.exe hasnt been used for looooong time dude...

This is a great pack especially the climb event and token system. However what kind of database editor is suitable for this? ADE doesnt work on this because the table is different =(
i use ade but i just turns of the Compitability check.
works perfect for me ;)
or else just use sqlyog, heidisql or navicat for normal db edit.
but ade works fine for me =) as long as the comp. check are turned off hehe
oic.. Can your ADE open this npc "Event reward vendor" id:171171? i got error for opening them. I like that npc and it's token system but i have problem opening with ADE to add items on it. The other are fine with ADE.
if you have problems with that, its actuallu very easy to do it manually direct in sql table hehe cause its only 3 fields to fill there:
entry = npc id
item = item id
amount = how many items at once (normal 1)
takes 2 sec to manually add =)
also you can get GMAddon plugin for wow
then you can go to the vendor in game, choose NPC button, from gmaddon menu
type in item id in vendor field, and press add
then the item is added in vendor =)
Oh thanks! What about adding item to vendor which require token to purchase it? i noticed the "Itemextendedcost" are set to 1491 but i still couldn't purchase it with the coin token. i believe there should be another area where i need to edit.
