    Rival DB + Maps (3.1)

Hello all. Aerothosis here again with some more awesomeness! In the repack thread I posted, I placed a link to the most current RivalDB link. Now, for those who might have missed it, I'm posting it here. Also, anytime the RivalDB team posts any updates in their svn, I will upload the new database here. Check back frequently.

    Rev 247 (latest):Download
    Rev 246 Download

Also, for the ease of everybody, here are the most current maps to be used with (I believe) all clients. Not 100% sure about use with MaNGOS servers, but this IS the ascent section so those filthy MaNGOS users can go back to their own section

    Client 3.1.2 (latest): Download

I extracted the RivalDB to my desktop and started the RDB installation. I think I managed to install it. But how do you configure the server? How do you create accounts etc? and my biggest problem of all, how do you connect to it? :p not used to this.. Thx in advance!!

This is just the database. You still need to get the server files from another source. In order to connect to your database I suggest using NaviCat. Also, do you have MySQL installed onto your computer? If not, then no you didn't actually install the DB.

Ultimately, the easiest way to figure all this out is to look at one of the tutorials in the ascent tutorials section (or just google one). That's your best bet for figuring all this private server stuff out.
