The database sounds like it has some problems.
There are so many projects out with databases and cores that its hard to stay up to date with them all being a soloist.
but maybe in time things will be even better. Once the new exppansion comes out the whole DB will need to get redone any ways.
and the command issuse.
When you ingame the frist thing you should do is type .command
you will then see the .comstyle list .mangos .arcemu .ascent .mancent
if you want to use mangos just type .mangos if your useing mangos and want to see or use the other comstyle all you do is type
.comstyle arcemu
then you would type .command to see your commands.
You have 4 styles to chopose from.
the mancent commands are more difficalt but interesting to use.
Whn your in game you can invent any type of npc name it and give it a subname, then set the faction to a boss or just a vendor. then start to add items to the new creature.
You can then set the diplay of the npc to any thing you want with .npc edit commands.

Website creators are welcome to take the website and make templates for the servers. all the templates are in a easy html format. useing tpl files.
If you have ideals and want to see them come to life come join me and the others and will try our best to make it work.
As for the scripts most of them are not working and are untested I do not use scripts becasue i check the stableness of the core frist. once thats checked i then start to add scripts.
I was pertty far with 3.1.3 but the updats from blizzard alwasy set me back.
Now im like 35% in teh core again to see whats going on. Doing alot of renameing and rewriting for a more cleanner installation for new patchs and upadates from blizzard.
My idea is to be able to download mangos and just dump a file over the download and compile and it turns it into mancent.
the only thing the mancent project is a full stable command system. I do not mess with any of mangos work in other areas unless i see lots of crashs in that location.
But when your in a gorup project with a large project and you got many users working on the same project. its wise to have one persone in one location of the project and other in there own section.

Yes the website is set up for a automatic system for donations and subscriptions. you have 2 account tables one is for mangos one is for arcemu or ascent or aspirerdev.
so when a user registers on your site they are making a account for mangos server or arcemu server and the website forums.
and if they wanted to donate or subscribe tehn they would gain a rank number that would give them there rewared for the doantion.
this is why you should know how to compile your own core. so you can set the commadns for the ranks. you have rank 0 - rank 99 so you can sell 99 items or 99 commands. but in most cases if you wanted a blizzard server and a donations reward would be say 5 commands like additem and levelup and fly land waterwalk.. some thing different and easy for the donator to do.
but you can also use arcemu with the website the point is kep it all orgainized at the start and you will not mess up in teh latter.
