Not me fourntaly. I'm running windows 7 and was done when i wrote my last post...lol
it took more time to install wolk client plus updates.. thank god i found a full patch that gos 1.3.0 to 2.3.0 in one whole shot the rest is simple and small
so now i have done all and ready to go
I frist complied your Mancent core with VC++
then i got UDB from torotisSVN
made a database with Mysqlyog
characters
mangos
realmd
when i did the MYSQLog database load in your mancent sql folder it was basicly same im use to characters.sql simple but i did not see a realmd.sql
i saw a world.sql so i loaded that as realmd. i hope that was right
then loaded the mangos core + updates in oreder from UDB file
easy as pie
after extracting map and dbc folders with ad.exe im ready
and i also configed the mangosd and realmd conf files to
127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;realmd"
127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;mangos"
127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;characters
all i did was changed mangos to root
the guides i followed was i dont know if you are aloow to post links here so mangos offcial wiki how to install to windows and a video tuteriol on youtube called how to complie mangos with udb
so im an now ready to run the server. and when i do both realmd and mangos.exe shut down DARN i look in the error logs and nothing is written in it and it closes to fast to read what errors there are. i can conferm that MYSQL is running properly
so im stuck here

Ok i was smart here i will open the two .exes and press prt/scr hope cathing an image before it closes so here mangosd

i was thinking that relm data should not be more then 10kb so i redid the realmd database and loaded it with logon.sql which is the righht size. still no chane the mangosd and realmd .exes close

ok i looked into the realmd database with navicat and it looks right i noticed the are acoounts alreay in it admin mod player ect. there is no read me that say the passwords for these account do you have them
well the SVN was updated today like always every day. The login.sql is the full website and login data for mangos and arcemu.
the characters.sql is just your hcaracters data.
the world.sql is realm.sql
I cleaned the world.sql up to day and did the same thing you did I downloaded ubd and updated it so its a full UDB clean world.
I would say you should check to make sure your mysql username and password is correct.
I would then say check your config/world.wtf and config/login.wtf
files to make sure they are set up to your localhost 127.0.0.1
Then I would also check the database to maek sure your realmlist table has your IP address to make it public.
but the SVN is updated every day all day long most times.

The account username are in most cases the password as well. your useing default mangos account table i see.
and i have fixed the log problem you was talking about. so now you can see the problem when you compile.

use navicat and connect to your databse look for realmlist table then open it and in that table you can set your IP address to make it publice and change the realm names.
Good luck with your server.
There are a few things you want to do to see if you can make a public server public.
If your running windows go to your start button
then click on run for xp users then type in the box "cmd" a black box will appear in the black box type the command IPCONFIG
If you are vista user just type in the search box at the bottom ove your start button type cmd a black box will appear in the black box type the command IPCONFIG
most of you will see 192.168.1.1 or some thing becasue your PC is on a rougter. And that will not go public unless you do port forwareding.
but if you see something else like a real IP then that means your pc IP matchs your PC address. to check if you match you might want to go to http://myipaddress.com
if they match then your in good shape and can make a server public very easy.

LOL I am a fool so easy to srew up....
i was looking over my server databases and notice that i put reamld
after i corrected spelling i then reloaded proper svn and now my realmd.exe works wooooohooo but the mangosd.exe still closes ill have to look more carefuly maybey its my config see if you can spot it

Hi all again :) I got the homepage working enough to register new accounts but every time I get this line showing all over the place: Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Paris' for '2.0/DST' instead in C:\MancentProject\xampp\htdocs\index.php on line 633
when getting to the page where u set up the account and password the previues line fills two pages before I have scrolled down far enough to make the accountbut atleast it works to register the account
this works even with skype btw so I am not that sure that was the problem.
the problem I had to start apache was more that apache cant find perl and did not work untill I simply disabeled it, however that might be the reason to why that line about the timezone and date shows up so right now I dont know how to fix perl maybe someone has an sulotion to that.

I am not a coder and have no experience except a course in c++ about a year ago and I have no Idear how to compile the core but I like to learn and that goes for webdesign as well wish I also have taken a course for but have no real experience there either.
I will however register on the hompage thou.

the mancent project is based on mangos core. but mangos realm.config needs to be in the same area as the realmd.exe
on mancent the realmd.exe is fine but the config files are in a new folder config/login.wtf
same for mangosd.exe the config file needs to be in config/world.wtf
they are the same as mangos conf files just renamed and moved.

Im going to add a new folder called getbase to see how you shoudl set the base up for your server to run correctly. check the SVN

I added getbase to the svn It will show you how you should set up mancent core.
It also has a full new compile for the server.
its no longer named mangos but changed to mancent-world.exe
its no longer named realm but changed to mancent-login.exe
its no longer named mangosscript.dll but changed to unicows.dll
core fixs include
you no longer need to upload maps to start the server but you will need to use dbc.
the command .tele wetlands has changed to .tele to wetlands or any zone.
if i left it just .tele then when you would type .tele in mangos comstyle you would not see the submenus like .tele name .tele group .tele add .tele del
this was the reason why i changed it to .tele to blacktemple.

if you use the world.sql i provided that problems allready fixed.
How ever to day is a big update. added scripts to the server installed all sql patchs i could find for the clean udb clean world.
goig to submit the clean world.sql with all sql updates i can get a hold of from SD2 and UDB and Mangos.
Need to do a new comile when you update the SVN.
alot of changes have took playce had to relink ACE.dll
New ALL SCRIPTS ARE ADDED THAT I COULD FIND.

you must have for got some thing.
did you compile your own?
or did you download the repack?
if you downloaded the repack install the repack frist then install the update.
if you installed the update frist then the repack would have over wrote the update.

Hi im back after learning how to complie and stuff. it i s easy to do but the trouble shooting is hard because the 320 versions on mangos has like NO support for it. i have tried to post questions on the forums i get the sourcs from and the responsis i get are cold.. like that is not supported use the 1.3.1 version only.. LOL
anyway i download mangos 8555 it had a bug in it that crashed manosd.exe...when it reached a checking a updated sql So i now tried newset version today, but that one is not working with the 3.2.0 client for some reason.. i did get it from the mangos 320 section itself .lol ahhhh
i have come to check ont your project. i did download the source and looked at it but the folder list and files are way different from what im use to it looks like your using all three emus in to one which is very cool i went to look at you guide on how to install or compile a fresh one but the guide is either missing or incomplete. all i see is "for some reason i cant add images" is the a link to your guide thanks.

I cant really give you any support with mangos, and yes they are very cold when you talk about something they do not support.
thats one reason why I wanted to make a core that is all cores in one. One reason would be We support the patch blizzard has always or as soon as we can.
Also its inportain to me that the core is stable for all not private access for only some people. CODE KEEPERS<---- BOO
And its really hard to learn how to do everything when there are so many projects out.
like mangos is just a core. The core is no good with out a database.
Then UBD is database but its no good with out the core.
Then you have like 1 millon updates to do before the core and database will even work.
Then you have scripts to add and thats eve more difficult.
mancent project is all in one SVN made for every one and ready to go with repacks updated compiles added full Database working
Full website every thing all in one place for easy learning.

windows 7 has nothing to do with it being in a .exe file it is an setup for the repack
