thanks ! used the second download alongside MySQL from mysql.com and a basic GUI for it to get this emu running perfectly (so far)
no instances currently work. no portals present at any locations

I thought without vmaps there were line of sight problems. Wasnt the purpose of vmaps to prevent issues where things would shoot at you through walls and vice versa?

Ok, I got the database on and all but at the beginning of this topic is the note about including the transports to Northrend (REPLACE INTO `transports` VALUES...). Do I put these values into the database using Navicat or something else? How do I put it there exacly?

I can't seem to get past the Realm list screen. When I click on my server's name, it trys to connect but then returns to the realm list. Anyone know whats happening here?
Also, I got a CRAP load of red text. Mentioning things like "Quest", "Spell" and some others. Am I missing something?

create a new connection mangos, password mangos (or what ever you changed it to)
open realmd database, tables, then select realmlist
right click and select view data
Change the address field 127.0.0.1( to Your servers IP if you are sharing if not leave as 127.0.0.1)
Save changes (click the floppy disk icon)
exit navicat or sqlyog
Edit with notepad c:\mangos\mangos.conf
Find EXPANSION = 1
change to EXPANSION = 2
Click in the DOS window called MANGOSD.EXE
Press enter to get a prompt mangos>
type
mangos> account create $account $password

Install World Of Warcraft 2.4.3

This is a very buggy first version, the red is normal but they are working on fixing these.

Download the files & updates & use the ad.exe file there.
If it still does not work then your WOTLK files are corrupt or need further updating 3.0.3 (9183)
