I think trinity has the best chance of being the new core & db if I can automate the patchque process or do I drop the patches and stick with mangos? Clearly from the release 'holiday' thats not an option Im considering otherwise I would have continued as soon as I had a grip of the git command ref.
I just don't have the time to manually glue the pieces together for a release so its critical that the processes can be automated to produce a consistant output that just needs tweaking to maintain compatability with the development process. Clearly this had been achieved with the project using sourceversion but the new repositories have reduced the ability to achieve this without editing the source manually, Im sure as the potential is realised by patch devs as to the power of the new repositories we will see consistant updates that merge with the master branch seamlessly but...I have yet to see this, I just don't think I can offer a release schedule under these circumstances so Im hanging around waiting for the 3.x.x branch to become the master tip.
Let me try to explain. When the client is updated this has some complicated repercussions for aquiring data to improve an existing development for a previous version of the client. Why? Well the ability to grab original usefull data for that rev has been removed! Fortunately for us this fact drives the development to support the newer client, this in turn forces new code tools to be created in order to aquire the latest 'meaningfull' data as well as an understanding of how the data that passes between client & server structure has changed. Nobody could possibly think that all that can be done in a couple of months so this is why we get these lulls in the output from the devs around client upgrade rollouts as their busy getting on with these complicated or mind numbingly repetitive tasks. What good is a 3.x.x server with a partial db?
So thats where I stand currently...

I agree with shiva and silver. IMHO its better to wait for a finished release from a reliable source than being cocky with files that aren't fully working.

Guys ok,i have installed the repack to C,And when i run AMber GUI program,i can run apache and realmd and Manogs...everything Responding,but how do i make my server PUBLIC now and how do i change the server rates,and WHY i can't connect-i am getting the looping,and i just setted at "REALMS" the "Adress" to my IP adress.thats all that i changed....in Amber Gui Program.. Plz helP>!?!

Ok listen,when i open AMBERGUI and i go to "realms"and "Adress" and i change over there to :MY IPADRESS:3306,and i restart the server and i type :Administrator,administator,IT going to logon and Bang it gives me an Disconect,help???what should i type there actually,if i type only IP adress then It stuck at logon screen at all,and btw i changed in SQY program the Realmlist Table to my Ip,where is the prob?
And btw when i run REALMd manually,it says:could not conect to mysql 127.0.0.1 ......Why?u said that we should not change anything at"Realmsd.conf" so i did not ..lol ..Greetz..
