Hey guys, great repack!
It was really easy to install and configure.
I only have a small issue though, the doors triggered to open after a certain creature/boss is killed never seems to open. Any help would be great thanks.
I guess I cant make it public yet.
I Ordered A static IP with my ISP The business accounts they do not block all ports.
But with Dynamic Home resident they block most WOW server ports.
I can play locally and with my room mates but not public.
Not only that, Its hard when your IP changes all the time with Dynamic IP.
Might get it tomorrow!
Edit: How do I make it where people use my DynDNS Site instead of IP in realmslistwtf file?

I have not done it but following the instructions from the link.
Try asking in the link website for more detail.
(A) On your Server PC
1. Create dyndns
2. edit your windows host file with your dyndns name & ip address given
3. forward your router ports
3. edit your reamlist address database using sqlyog and change address field to your dyndns
4. Leave your c:\program files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf to 127.0.0.1
(B) On the client pc - other people connecting to you
1. Edit with Notepad c:\program files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf
set realmlist your server dyndns address
set patchlist your server dyndns address
Ah I see That clears it up a little bit.
Once I get my Static IP I'll setup my server
As for now gonna play locally ^_^
P.S. I use Navicat not sqlyog Navicat works better IMO
That's cool.
If you are going to share your database, remember to change the sql passwords from mangos,
as well as the administrator password.
Also take care in opening up your router to the outside.
I like navicat as well but use Sqlyog in this forum because it is supplied with Amber.

I know how to do it with Uniform Server but not with Amber
Because Amber does not come with PHPMyADMIN

Hi guys - first I'd like to say that this package is awesome. Thx a lot for it. It's a masterpiece!
Now - I put this stuff to run, I setup everything, it runs perfectly, users are playing - I even translated that attached website to my language and modified it as needed - everything is 100%.. well almost everything, I've got one little problem with mentioned website.
It's all about the "Screenshot of the Day" section. I have problems with thumbnails. There is no thumbnail generating. And I'm unable to find out what's wrong. I thought that the problem could be with that special library - ehm GD library - but that was too difficult for me.
Guys could you give me a hint? I've been study that php code in every possible ways but I'm still unable to find the solution. Even the screenshot and wallpaper section isn't working. There are no thumbnails either.
Please help :'(
I'm not sure if this is a bug related to Ambers or not, so I wasn't sure if I should post this here. Two questions:
First off, is there a bug list posted somewhere for MaNGOS that I could look at for small fixes?
Secondly, whenever I use a flight master, it works fine until I land. I am on forced walk mode. I tried looking at the keybinds and I found a walk/run but it doesn't seem to change the walking.

Never mind on the second question, reinstalled WoW and it fixed my problem. For whatever reason, the default walk/run key wasn't working, and WoW would not save any changes I made to any options whatsoever.
Couple of things here. Server works great.
But when trying to change the MYSQL Root Password Nothing Happens Get Access Denied.
Even tried to change the pass with navicat
And also, is there a different Mangos Website compatible with your repack?
The forums do not work when after installing.
Can I install Apache mysql etc and just runt he server files?
And not use the ones built in with Amber?
Basically a stand alone install
