Well, now I am stumped. I am pretty sure I have just set something wrong somewhere. Before I changed the WoW version on the separate client machine I had this situation:

the server and realms start fine
my client on the server PC connects and runs fine
the other clients in the house could log in and see the realm list but the realms showed as being offline

After changing one client to match the version on the server I have this situation:

the server and realms start fine
my client on the server PC connects and runs fine
the client I changed can now log in and the realms show as online. When one is selected and I try to connect it shows the connecting graphic for about 2 seconds and then goes back to the realm list.

I have also tried connecting using the no ip method. Apparently I really mucked that up since my client still connected fine but the other said the login server was down. I have switched back to the LAN method and verified that I am back to the realms showing as online but no connecting.

I get the same results whether the server and clients are connected directly to the router, through a switch to the router and even when just connected to the switch.

I am now at a loss and would appreciate any attempts to point out possible things I may have not set up properly.

I have updated from v9862 to v10199, ran map extract then a few minutes later I notice a new version just came out again so I updated from v10199 to v10245, on both updates I keep getting this error, so I ran ad.exe again on the 3.3.5a client and still get this error, any ideas?

Having done all this i still get nothing in the auction house. i am at a loss. i tried all this before and got nowhere. i can not understand what seems to be going wrong.

AmberGui crashing every time when i start it, i think problem is in NetFramework 4.
I try too much things, deleting the new framework and put 3.5.1 but he gives error always like incorrect OS language :/. Mb i need some library files or other version of AmberGui?
Help if someone know:)

Amber GUI at wow ver.3.0.9 and 3.3.3 seems to work, but how good it will work with new base?:)

Hell this is the most easy way to have a server in no time i ever saw, and i saw a lot of things all those years, updated to latest and everything is working so smooth, thanks again shivajiva101! Keep up the amazing work!

Erh, My AmberGui crashes as soon as i launch it. I't worked about a month ago or so at patch 3.3.2 and i have made no major changes to my system. I might have updated my .NET framework to version 4.0 but that shouldn't affect the AmberGui? Anyways here are some logs.

nvm, fixed it... changed the "gui_opacity_val" in amber.txt from 0.99 to 1

i can't create account....i get the same unhandled thread error as the post above mine. and changing the value to 1 does not help. and yes i have .net framework 4 installed

is there any way to change the number of riders on a mount so the mammoth can take 3 riders as it claims or is that not possible with this arrangement?

Thank you shivajiva excellent recode. works perfect on windows 7 now. had managed to work arround the right shifted display anyway but much thanks for all the continued hard work.

Hmm having problems with this update

MSVCR100.dll giving me a entry point error in relmd & mangosd could you recompile it ?
Or is it the vers I downloaded...had to dl both the msvcp100 & msvr100 are you using a different compiler etc?
And please make sure it runs under xp 32 bit ;)
Going to do some more reading to see if I can fix it myself ;)
