I am not finding any database errors at all.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP1, 4gigs ram, 3.6ghz 4 core amd, and i have the netframework 3.5 sp1.

Like I said before, I was able to work a trinity server repack with this setup, so the computer itself should be good.

Anyone else run into this before? Or anyone have a fix for it? I really want to try to get this repack to work, has me interested.

Easy Fix : Get an Intel CPU :P

and the point of that is? to run abit cooler and quieter? oh and so you can overclock it abit better? intel is and will always be a waste of money

back on topic: i've tested a few more OS versions working: win 7 32 & 64 starter, pro, ultimate & corp i'll test the other ones i've missed at some point

Well you can get a Intel for the same price as an amd and it faster and more reliable.

i am wating for 3.2.0 relase :) :P

Well thanks for the tip, but I highly doubt its a CPU issue. And I am pretty happy with the one I have now. It blows my friends Intel comp away.

Anyways, again back on topic. It started up again. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the administrator account. Yesterday when I was logging in with it and the mangosd.exe stopped getting shutting down. This morning I created a new GM account and deleted the administrator one and it started crashing right away again. Not sure if its coincident or not.

So I went into the database and changed the gm account number from 9 to 1 and seems to be working. No crashes yet. I am hoping this is a coincident and not a actual problem with this server. But anyhow, its going again.

Anyone know of any nice GM Packs for the GM island for this repack? I used one from Erytheia Trinity Core Repack Release V1 for WoW 3.1.3 and it loaded everything with the exception of the spell trainer and portals. The glyphs/enchantments don't work with that one either on this repack. I am sure it has something to do with the different server platforms (Trinity/Mangos) rather then the repack tho.

i'd love to know the shops you go to

my phenom II x4 3.40ghz cost me about £170

the closest i could find to it was a intel core 2 quad that ran at 3.20ghz and it was £240

if you go i7 the price then goes even higher

Hello everyone, I have a question about a patch.

First, I downloaded and installed this:
Latest Full Installation paq - for client v3.1.3
UDB 0.11.5 CS382 + MaNGOS 0.14.0 v8286

I want to apply this patch:
Updates - for client v3.1.3
UDB 0.11.5 CS382 + MaNGOS 0.14.0 v8286-v8415

When I go to install it, I get this error message:

Setup requires at least 61,169 KB of free space to install, but the selected drive has 0 KB avaliable. Do you want to continue anyway?

Well I know my drive has a lot more space then that. 498 GB Free. So knowing this, I hit continue anyways. And it stops the install. Any ideas here as to what may be causing this?

Nevermind. My screwup. When it asks for a directory, it defaulted to D:\Mangos and I just assumed it said C:\Mangos. So it had the wrong drive assignment. So far, the patch is installing good. :)

theres gotta be something common thats causing grief
especially if there is others like me that did a clean install then upgrade and still got errors

btw RTM Win7 x64 ultimate 8Gram
no firwalls/anti virus etc at time of install

3. Or your SQL file may be just an update and not the full structure to create the required tables and columns. Run Characters.sql first.

Hey guys....i just installed this server to my computer and got the client 3.1.3 and when i get to the game and play everything works fine..but when i tried to teleport to anyplace in northrend it says i dont have WoW:WOTLK expansion and therefore i dont teleport...sooo have i done something wrong can someone help me please

1. Exit WOW
2. close apache2 & servers realm, world1, world2
3. Close Ambergui
4. run C:\MaNGOS\v8286\start.bat
5. run C:\MaNGOS\SQLyog\SQLyog.exe
6. Create a new connection call it mangos and leave root and type password mangos
7. connect to database
8. click [+] realmd
9. click [+] account
10.click menu table, then view data
11.On the right should appear usernames for your accounts
12 move the arrow bar on the bottom until you see heading expansion
13 type in each box down expansion type the number 2
14. click the diskette picture just above where you typed to save changes
15. exit sqlyog
16. C:\MaNGOS\v8286\stop.bat
17. Use Ambergui again.

Dude im not stupid i know how to add the account and put the 2 there and i have done this. but yet it still does not work. and yes i do have WOTLK but it oddly does not want to let me go to WOTLK areas of the game. Could it be something with the database because i had version 6766 before i upgraded to this.

check mangosd.conf for Expansion = 2

Thanks that worked.......oh and does anyone know if mangos makes use of multi-cpus?

I've installed the Mangos repack for the 3.1.3 /the first link on the first page/ and something is wrong. I can run the MySQL and the Apache, such as the Realmd, but I can't lauch the World 1 and World 2. The window shows up for a part of the second and then it disapears. There is some blue text on the top and some red text in bottom. The bad point is that I have no time to read what does it say. I think there is something about a maps in the red text. And by the way, I saw the post of the guy with the empty vmaps folder - mine is empty too. And is it a problem, that I installed the Mangos into the WoW install directory, because I don't have enough free space on my C:\ drive?

Rerun the install, but when is asks for selected destination
choose d:\MaNGOS (or the drive you have space).
Do not install it in the WOW folder.

Edit: But I'm still having a problem with World 2. MySQL is working, Apache is working, Realmd is working, World 1 is working and World 2 don't launch. And when I start World 1, a window appears and starts loading. The reg guy becomes green, but when it finnish with the loading of the items and etc it switches back to red guy and the text on the button is no more Stop, so if I want to turn the World 1 off, I have to use the X on the corner of the window.

I need the last wow server posted in rapidshare...

does anyone know if this utilizes multiple CPU's?
